Only here for one night, but would thoroughly recommend this pub/restaurant. Food produced by Michelle tonight was delicious. The photo shows my half eaten fish casserole - so tasty, fresh and the waiting staff were friendly and attentive. All in all 100% tasty, wholesome and well priced👍👍👍

seafood was fresh and delicious, highly recommend the mussels and the bread was freshly baked and soft. we got the salt and pepper squid however this was not well seasoned and the membrane of the squid was not cut off making it quite chewy. interior is a bit dated however staff were lovely and attentive.

Having been invited by a local Poole fisherman to introduce us to fresh seafood, we couldn't have been more impressed and well fed. The Poole Arms is Oldest pub on the quay and has a fantastic atmosphere and a great selection of fresh seafood. We're looking forward to returning soon for some more of our new favourite, Moules Mariniere 👍

Very tasty seafood, freshly cooked. Great service, friendly staff. Edit: was so good, had to come back the next day. Didn't eat all this at once...

Fab to get to a pub 🍻 with locally, fresh cought seafood 🍤🦐🐟🦪 served. Problem for me was that the dishes been to tastless for me - I mean without any kind of seasoning, spices or herbs. Cooked without pepper and salt too what is a bit awkward. But the choice was decent (counted for even wider but maybe we came to early), same as service. We hoped for some proper sailor ⚓ themed ambience but there was just small collection of memorabilia and overall had a lack o character although was fine and cosy. Façade of the building is really great though! 🏗️

Lovely uncomplicated atmosphere. Gr we at food and live the simple fact that they haven't served chips since 1635! Marks itself it amongst all the other pubs/restaurants on Poole quay

Impressive green tiled pub, snug wood panelled interior, is very popular with diners, 3 ales on the bar, cosy and friendly atmosphere.

Called in on the off chance and managed to secure a table (last one). Even in the early evening this was a venue very much in demand. My wife ordered the fish pie which was delicious and filling. I ordered the seafood casserole which was full of fish and shellfish but the juice was watery and bland, which was really disappointing. The prices were good and the service exceptional. Well worth a visit but make sure you make a reservation to avoid disappointment.

Excellent food, we had a Seafood Chowder, Fish Soup, Catfish, & Haddock Pot! Good portions, very tasty, definitely recommended! Docking a point as being sat by the door when it's cold detracts from the experience, & for the Gents you have to go outside & round the corner which is annoying, young staff need to be a little more observant as it was hard to get their attention, & it wasn't busy.
