Me and my wife stayed here for more than a week upon our arrival in Wales. Lovely little place, easy to find on map. Bus stop and rail station is nearby. The lady who runs the property and her daughter is very helpful. Peaceful and no disturbs at all. Highly Recommended ❤️

Simple accommodation with warm open people who sought conversation as soon as I arrived and were very interested in my trip. Nice pub with very tasty freshly tapped beer and a good meal. So I liked it very much. Open, warm, uncomplicated. Thank you for that!
Free live music and friendly staff.. pool table and darts as a given..very spacious place
Visited today with my wife, son and his partner.
Made us and our two dogs feel very welcomed after a long walk, lovely food, drink and atmosphere the manager even brought a bowl of water for the dogs.
Highly recommended will be back soon.

Bertie,s is ok . Pub is lively and a bit loud at times .Staff are friendly and helpful. Accommodation is basic but clean and tidy, bed is comfey linnin clean and fresh. Had a meal in the restaurant food was good and competitive price. Would go back. The pub car park backs on to the river Rh

Good size rooms in a nice and quiet location with affordable prices. New management and staff made us feel welcomed and were very helpful. We will definitely visit again if we are around the area. Highly recommended for whoever wants to stay in a friendly place with the advantage of a nice pub!

This place was recommended to me for traditional Sunday lunch. I have not been to many pubs in Wales, but the food was really good. Sure, the building or the furniture are a little run down, but for me, it was a nice part of the good experience I had. And the staff was really nice.
