We went in search of custard slices and FOUND THE BEST CUSTARD SLICES EVER, in addition to pasties and jam tarts.
The custard slices had mille feuille level delicious pastry, the creme pat, perfect, not too sweet, eggy and V Smooth texture.
Really helpful staff and communication. Hard to beat this quality bakery. My husband is American and was blown away.
Amazing bread and rolls the vegan pasties and sausage rolls are great aswell as the selection of fresh baked treats like custard slice and bakewell tarts. They also have croissants & pains au chocolat but these sell fast
Literally haven't tried this shop for over 10 years an fair to say the baguettes we got were stunning and the pasties 10/10 🙌 was nice to see the same staff still there 🤟👍
My wife and I love the baguettes from here for lunch as well as the cream horns (freshly made). We have always been happy with everything from here, including desserts for Christmas and our beautiful wedding cake, which is why we have kept coming back here for the past 9 years. The staff are especially friendly and make it feel very welcoming. What can I say except to suggest stopping by and giving it a try.
Great bakery. Bread, savouries and cakes are of a high standard. This bakery is doing an outstanding job during the pandemic. Can’t fault their delivery service. We should all look to support our local hero’s.
