We had our wedding here Saturday just gone, such a beautiful place and our day was just so lovely. Exactly what we wanted. Charlotte our wedding planner was just simply wonderful throughout the whole process, nothing was ever too much even when I kept changing things. Any email sent I had a quick reply, she took so so much stress off of us and can’t thank her enough for that. Everything was made so simple and easy for us, and with a wedding that’s not how you expect it to be but thanks to them it was. On the day, the staff was so welcoming and just so lovely. Steph who set it all up, thank you so much .. it was exactly how we wanted it and again nothing was too much. Thanks to all the staff.. everything went so well and everyone enjoyed themselves. After the night was over, they packed everything away safely and stored it ready for us. The chef, so talented ! Food was just stunning, I had many guests come up and compliment the food, so big thank you to the chef too! Really cannot recommend and thank this beautiful place with wonderful staff enough ! 5* really is not enough

We got married at llechwen hall on August the 12th 2017. I would love to do it all again! Llechwen hall just took our breath away! Such a lovely place to have our wedding. Charlotte and the staff made the marquee look beautiful, the staff were all friendly and welcoming. We have had nothing but good feedback from our guests about our venue and how amazing the food was. We can't thank Charlotte enough for helping us have the perfect wedding day. She made us feel completely at ease at all our meetings and always got back to me with my endless emails. She felt more like a friend by the time the wedding day arrived. The day ran smoothly thanks to Charlotte. We would like to say a big thank you to everyone at llechwen hall and would definitely recommend. Thank you Mr & Mrs Lewis xx

We got married here yesterday and I can't thank Charlotte and the staff enough. Nothing was too much trouble, every member of staff was polite friendly and helpful. The venue is gorgeous an amazing setting. Everything run perfectly and our rooms were set up even more beautifully than I'd imagined. Even our theme of harry potter and Alice in wonderland fit in perfectly with the venue. Will recommend to everyone. We also had so many compliments on the food. Thank you all at Llechwen hall for making our day so magical

My partner and I visited Llechwen Hall for dinner. The service was great from the moment we arrived. We were welcomed by a lady in reception who showed us to the lounge and took orders for drinks, whilst leaving the menu with us. Shortly afterwards a waiter arrived to take our order. When it was time to go through to the restaurant the same waiter returned and took us and our drinks to the restaurant. The food arrived promptly and was extremely tasty. We then returned to the lounge to finish our drinks and settle our bill. Both members of staff were very polite and attentive from start to finish. Llechwen Hall is a beautiful building with fantastic grounds and views. Highly recommended.

We celebrated my parent’s Golden wedding at Llechwen Hall Hotel on 30.12.17. What a wonderful time wE had. It was faultless! The food was superb, the service was excellent and the venue stunning. The lunchtime meal was in the marquee which had views over the countryside and was as warm as toast.😊It was equally nice to see young staff doing a great job to provide brilliant service. Well done all.

Beautiful location with a stunning valley views. We stayed in the Coach house, and the room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Llechwen Hall hotel is known to be super pet-friendly, so they do not charge a fee for your pets. They also do not have a size or weight limit. Surrounding area has plenty of places to walk the dogs. Highly recommended!

Gifted a 3 course luncheon and we had a lovely Sunday roast lunch. Very friendly fast service and a lovely picturesque location. We were lucky to have glorious weather so made the most and Sat outside on their lovely patio to beautiful views over the valley.

Just a one night stay while visiting family. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The en-suite was equally well equipped and spacious with a good shower. The reception informed us on booking in, that we had been upgraded. I'm not sure if that was good or bad as our room was looking out on to a brick wall and not some of the magnificent views afforded to other rooms. Had a 'Full Welsh Breakfast' which was excellent and part of our booking choice. The hotel and food were very good value for money. Although we didn't use either the bar or the restaurant for an evening meal they looked equally inviting and we will get to use them when we go back. And we will go back 👍

Such a fabulous place! Take no notice of the AA 3 star... This should be a four. Clean and comfortable rooms. Great food. Not cheap but a good high standard. Could be a little more creative with breakfast menu. Location is great, beautiful Wales on pontypridds doorstep !! Oh and amazing that they are pet friendly as well.

Stunning location with amazing valley views but sadly they seem to have an issue with their plumbing as whilst we were sat outside, there was a recurring whiff of sewage which was very off putting! I can't comment on rooms as we didn't stay but reception area looked pleasant and food was plentiful.

We cannot thank the staff enough for a fantastic stay. Accomodating my family and three dogs is no easy task but the staff went above and beyond. A stunning venue, clean modern rooms and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

We stayed overnight for my birthday treat. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. We had an afternoon tea which was lovely. Few drinks at the bar, 5.20 a pint of cream flow, bout average these days. Food in the restaurant in the evening was nice. Deals are on for meals but a bit restrictive. Overall a comfortable stay.

The place is stunning and quite unique but there's clearly a difference in the quality of the older rooms and the newer rooms. We were in one of the older rooms, right above the marquee where a wedding was taking place. This made it really noisy until the early hours, Plus the walls are so thin we could hear the room next door snoring like warthog. The staff were lovely and friendly but about 30 minutes after we went for breakfast, last night's wedding party arrived and cleared everything out. When I asked the waitress why they don't stagger the breakfasts, or advise non wedding guests of this, I was advised that this is a common occurance due to reception just booking everyone in at the same time. I appreciate the weddings make up the bulk of the business here but regular customers shouldn't be marginalised or inconvenienced by this. Perhaps tell people when they're booking that there's a wedding so they can reconsider their plans. The evening meal was absolutely fantastic. Excellent flavour, great presentation and courses were well timed. The hot breakfast was very nice but we didn't get to have any continental style as the wedding party cleared it out within minutes. Would definitely stay again, but would be asking if they had a wedding on, and for a room away from that side of the building, but I feel this is something they should be pro-active about when booking non-wedding guests in.

Really lovely place to stay and unwind, we stayed in the coach house and I can say that the rooms are very nice clean and comfortable, whilst we didn’t have an evening meal we found the breakfast was superb, it was freshly cooked both mornings. Car parking is generally good and normally not a problem , we had a prom night so lots of cars and buses parked when we returned to the hotel but we did still manage to find a parking spot. We will definitely like to return to this hotel.

Absolutely beautiful place inside and out, the gardens are Very Well kept and an obvious choice for some beautiful event photography. The rooms are very spacious and well laid out. The Hotel as a whole is a very relaxed environment and quite pleasurable to get away to. Today, however there was a shortage of staff and experience. There were 17 of us booked in for a 3 course meal, starters and mains went by with very little problems however the staff showed that they were in a rush, there was nobody serving drinks at the bar and with some reluctance to do so, one of the waiters came and took a small drinks order that took a very long time to be delivered and then there was a bit of a problem with the sodas being flat which unfortunately couldn't be resolved. Then finally came the desserts with the exception of the Eton Mess (which wasn't really Eton Mess but was delicious either way) any other desserts were sampled and left, brownies being still frozen, meringue not being set, Choux buns tasting off. The drinks were taken off the bill. All of the staff members were trying their up most throughout and hopefully, next time (There definitely has to be a next time) it will be even better.

Very nice place, peaceful location. Staff were helpful. The only negative thing I can say is the road up to the hotel, narrow and very windy. Blind corners and sheep grazing.

It looks like a very nice place as lots of wedding receptions happen there . All I can say is if your planning on booking a full size coach or bus for your guests to arrive and take them home book it early in advance as coach will get up there as I'm a coach driver myself and have done it many times but lots of companies won't send large vehicles up there as it's extremely tight except maybe keepings coaches or Jarvis coaches both based in Aberaman , Aberdare

The room was huge and the bed one of the most comfortable I experienced in a hotel. It's also very quiet and they have great customer service. Amazing experience, feels like more than 3star!
