My best strawberry tart experience! Would recommend to all for a wave of nostalgia and strawberry dreams come true! (I did burn my tongue on the hot choc)

No visit to Pontypridd is complete without a visit to The Prince's.
We have been regular visitors over the years and always enjoy popping in. The cafe has a well-stacked bakery section at the entrance which offers a variety of sweet treats, takeaway lunches and freshly baked bread.

We had take away 🥧 pie and 🍰 cake to eat in the park, and thought they were absolutely amazing the steak and kidney pie was well filled and a nice size, the corned beef pie was great as well, the raspberry custard slice was amazing lovely raspberry taste, the strawberry custard tart was also amazing
First time diner at The Prince's in Pontypridd town. I had the Special Battered Cod. New places often make me anxious due to my mental health but thanks to my waitress Roz, it made me feel better. I enjoyed my food and the atmosphere. I was here this morning also. 100% would come back and full recom
Was in last weekend foe my friends hen party and the whole experience was great. The staff were super friendly, the food delicious and the whole afternoon was wonderful
Very nice little bakery with friendly staff.
Corned beef wedge was excellent, as was the jam custard slice.
Looking forward to retuning to try more dishes

I booked the afternoon tea with savouries for my Mams 85th birthday today and would like to say how lovely it all was! Fresh tasty and all baked to perfection. We can't wait to come back! Lovely service from all the staff too!
We had the prosecco afternoon tea and it was absolutely fantastic! The staff were helpful and polite. The food was outstanding and so much. Definitely value for money! I would recommend for Hen afternoon tea, retirement occasions, baby shower and any other celebrations. Thanks for looking after us

High quality home cooked food with the tastiest baked on the premises breads, cakes and pastries. Beautiful flavours for simple meals, Friendly and comfortable.
Steak and kidney pie, chips, garden peas and gravy. Followed by a jam and custard slice. Lovely food. Pleasant service. Lovely art deco style decor in a great restaurant.
Love everything about this cafe the inside is vintage with some of its original art decor.
Staff are great with a good service food is lovely and the cakes are amazing that are made at the premises and bread. Can't beat the toast in the morning like the old days thickly cut and toasted under a grill
