Was in a party of 5 for an evening meal, I think amongst us all we had every dish on the menu and of course the forks were being offered so we all had a taste of everything, including the Vegan dish.
It did not disappoint, great flavours and quality ingredients. A personal favourite of mine the beef starter, I can't imagine ordering anything else from now on, a must try.
Staff very attentive without being intrusive, was great to have a chat with Lewis (Head Chef) afterwards, his enthusiasm for his food is infectious, I'm looking forward to the owner putting on a few pounds as frankly his appearance certainly doesn't tell the story of the food ;-) Highly recommended and extremely good value for money.

Gorgeous food and great service. Took my parents there to celebrate their wedding anniversary, reasonable price for great quality food, I highly recommend the place and might even try the breakfast menu when I return again. Really hope this small business is supported by the local community rather than giving money to the big chains around here.
Just had done dinner in this place and it ticks all the boxes. Food vibe is very similar to the Potted Pig yet at very reasonable £24 for 3 course meal it fills your belly with some well cooked food. Each course has 3 options, meat, fish or vegan and all done to a very high standard. Cocktail menu is classy. Beer, cyder and wine very good too. Bunch of Grapes has some serious competition now and now Cardiff has some catching up to do.
Just what ponty needed. A lovely modern place to enjoy some incredible food. I took my friend from London who is a very fussy eater and very hard to please, and she absolutely loved her chicken club sandwich. The pancakes were incredible and were the perfect size. I would highly recommend it. I can’t wait to try the fine dining and cocktails menu.
My friends and I went to the Chain House for an evening meal. I had been there previously for breakfast but WOW the food tonight was outstanding. If we were in London this would be a little bistro cafe that you would expect to see everywhere but no we are in Ponty! Mackerel to start, lamb for mains and a cheese board for afters. I was not disappointed. I had plate envy with my friends choices. Please let this place keep going. Please support it. I just need to try lunch to get the hat tick. Beautiful food, original decor and friendly staff. Must have been good. I’ve never written a review on Facebook
Confession time: my 3rd visit in 10 days. Cannot praise this lovely little bistro enough. Very cosy, loved the Brighton theatre chairs, the food and drinks are divine. Not a huge choice on the menu but it’s a cosy bistro and I’d go for quality over quantity every time! Service is exceptional and nothing is too much trouble!
Fantastic place! I can't recommend it enough the Sunday roast was gorgeous (I had the beef, which was so tender it practically melted!) and it's so refreshing to know they offer vegetarian/vegan options as standard and even gluten free too if you book in advance �
The staff were super attentive and friendly as well which makes you feel right at home

Second visit here and it certainly won't be the last. The menu has a lovely range of choice for vegans and the food is DELICIOUS. The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff are polite and helpful. I highly recommend giving it a go. You won't be disappointed.
Had the afternoon vegetarian option which was amazingly tasty. Sooooooo glad this little gem of an eateria is on my doorstep. Will be visiting again very soon. Especially now they are doing evening bookings. Wonderful staff and service! Cannot recommend highly enough.

What a fantastic little place, just what Pontypridd needs! Wonderful selection of food, the vegetarian options are especially good. Can't recommend it highly enough.

This is truly an amazing place that I really don’t want to share as I want to keep it to myself! I have had breakfast, lunch and dinner (not all on the same day �) and they have all been outstanding. The food is out of this world, so tasty and different. The staff are very friendly and helpful. This is exactly what we need in Pontypridd. Will definitely be visiting on a regular basis. I am already looking forward to my next visit x
Just had a burger and dirty fries delivered from Fab Burgers at Chain House. Really stunning. Enjoyed the meaty burger with Blue Cheese and onion chutney and the fries loaded with cheese, mayo, chorizo and jalapenos were stunning. Delivered to the door, even better. Will definitely sample more!!!
A cosy, welcoming place on the edge of Ponty's park and handily on the Taff Trail. The friendly new owners have created the best burgers I've ever had (F.A.B.) and the breakfast menu is really good too. Great place for meetings or chilling out.
I didn't book, rocked for the first time and got a table outside. Great service topped off with an awesome meal deal. Burger was fab!!

Ordered burgers, dirty fries and a Negroni cocktail for collection yesterday. Food was ready as soon as I arrived and staff were very friendly. Food was amazing, especially the dirty fries! Cocktail was really good too, the bottle contained two good measures and the quality of the spirits used were good too, they even included a bag of ice and orange wedges! The food was still nice and warm by the time we got home which was 10 mins after collection.
I would highly recommend ordering from them and it felt good supporting a local business during these difficult times!
