Great local tandoori house. An impressive array of curries, breads and other bits. The king prawns were delicious. NB, it’s cash payment only!

Absolutely the very best Indian food I have ever tasted.The portion sizes are generous and the cost was very affordable., We phoned ahead, and the meal was ready to pick up as we arrived, Everything was cooked to perfection, and the counter staff were very well informed and helpful with our dessert

Riaz runs the best takeaway around in the Shaheen in my view. I dont live in New Inn but do like to pick up a Vindaloo, Dansak, Chicken Tikka or a Bhuna from him when I can. Excellent food and plenty of it. I have known and enjoyed Riaz's superb Indian food for over 30yrs, going back as far as when
Love this place, food is the best around. We've moved away from Pontypool but still travel over half an hour for a takeaway as we havent tasted better anywhere else.
