fab afternoon tea, I was given a large pot of tea for myself which the staff refilled twice for no extra charge, they also accommodated for my friend who didn't drink tea by giving her 2 lattes, we had a very large platter of sandwiches and crisps with a great selection of fillings, a selection of yummy cakes, biscuits, chocolate mousses, and cheesecake, all homemade by the chef, the presentation of the cakes and how they were made was exceptional looking, we were also offered a warm scone with jam and clotted cream to finish off, it was very good value for money at only £12 and i would go as far as saying it was even better than the more expensive places I have been for afternoon tea such as the angel, I will defineteley be returning for it again in the future
Had afternoon tea here yesterday, must say it was absolutely amazing.. The staff were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble.. The cakes were to die for and we left feeling really full.. Would highly recommend to anyone �
Very friendly efficient well trained staff. Made to feel very welcome. Food was excellent good value and nicely presented. Pie and a pint good deal at £9.95. Would recommend it oh and the beer is good!

Had Sunday lunch for my dad's 70th birthday yesterday ...fab staff..couldnt do enough for you and food was amazing ...only place my 9 year old will finish a Sunday lunch!!...cant wait to come back and sample the evening menu !!
Went on the off chance for a birthday meal with the hubby. (8th dec) the food was gorgeous hot and plenty of it. I enjoyed the new cocktails esp the rockin robin. Lovely place to chill and eat. We sat by the window where we watched the snow fall. Really lovely night. Staff were lovely defo be going again
Went for lunch today and...wow!! I was blown away. The steak and ale pie was absolutely stunning, completely melts in your mouth and the White chocolate and raspberry cheesecake was just... Well there are no words. To top it off, the staff were absolutely lovely and made us feel so welcome. It's definitely become my new favourite place to eat!

Brilliant service and the food was lush I had the 10z rump steak & the onion rings are to die for and I don't even like onion rings. I would recomend the unicorn to everyone ���
The staff are friendly the Sunday lunch was lovely and price wasn't too bad for three adults would definitely go there again
A group of us had lovely Xmas meal. I have eaten here before and always had a nice meal.

First time to the unicorn today had 3 courses me and hubby for the first time and can't say how good the food was will defiantly be going again the cheese board is one of the best I've ever seen with the nuts over and the waitresses was so down to earth will be telling friends and family to pop down for food, thank you can't say how nice we enjoyed all of it.

We had afternoon tea for 6 people and it was great value for money! It was £12 and we had loads of sandwiches and plenty of cakes, tea and coffee!! The host was polite and very helpful!!! We will definitely be going again x

Friendly atmosphere. Good traditional pub grub at a reasonable price. Would like more choice of vegetarian food but as I occasionally eat fish I was able to find a suitable choice.
First time here as treated by bil easy to park as we were early but gets full if you eat later good seating for me . Expected the normal Sunday roast but no the lamb was thick cut but just melted in your mouth veg well cooked not served half raw as is the fashion now, roast pots done to a crisp not pale and bland like so many places great gravy with any sauce you need and hot plates ,a rarity now . The sweet was just what was needed after a heavy course light sweet but very full of flavour . We will def be going again when we next visit great value for money
