Finally found a local fish and chip shop that doesn't fry in beef dripping....fish was lovely and chips good but serving them in a box not so good. Only a short journey home fish had lost its crispness on the batter. Maybe need to wrap fish separately?
I think it's called Linda's now and it beats all 3 fish and chip shops in Ackworth hands down. Linda can cook a fish. Definitely one of my favourite fish and chip shops nationally.
Linda's Fish and Chips as it is now known was very tasty. Good service and fresh food. Really good price as well.
Best chippy in the area for not being stingy with their servings.
Fish seems fresh (not rubbery) and tasted good.

It's not golden cod anymore its Linda's quality fish and chips and its lovely staff are pleasant and nothing too much trouble
