Visited this pub a few days ago. The owners have been there for around 6 months now, and have great plans which when completed will turn the place in to a must go family friendly pub. Located in a small village far enough away from mainstream towns, the clientel are a mixture of locals and people looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of town centre pubs. For sports lovers all tastes are catered for. There is an excellent selection of drinks to choose from including a couple of Ales. With a huge beer garden and summer just around the corner I highly recommend this great little find.

Had my baby shower here yesterday. It is a really nice pub in a great location. The staff were amazing and very helpful. They set the room up lovely The buffet that they put on for us was delicious, good quality and plentiful. Well worth the money. Some lovely desserts too. (My dad said it serves a great pint of theakston's) Thank you to everyone for making the day one to remember Amy xx

Really couldn't recommend this place enough. Stumbled across it whilst taking the dogs and kids on a walk. Dog friendly, kid friendly and food fantastic. Go there if you can ( the pub dog, freddy, is the main attraction.

Fantastic pub, lovely beer garden and dogs are welcome too inside and outside. Had chilli rice and chips. Nicest chilli had in a long time, good choice on the menu. Had a nice walk from Normanton to the pub and walked back.

Always a great place to go. Relaxing atmosphere. Beer garden is spacious. Animals welcome and there is biscuits and water available for our 4 legged friends. Staff are always welcoming. Quiz nights held monthly. Live music is on regularly. The comedy nights are fantastic. Great place to go. Food is delicious and the beer is always good. Definitely recommended Also good for party's, but if you fancy a,quiet one in front of the fire, it's the place to go too
