Clean, tidy, a bit 1990’s flashback to old Rovers Return in a way, to which suits the area completely fine, in my visit to Pontefract. I’ve learnt I must speak slower, as my broad Sheffield de Dar accent / Mancs (dialect) does not translate greatly across to the locals.

Staff are always really friendly, food is always quickly made, tastes really nice especially for the prices, me and my wife have come a fair few times now, we really like it.
Ps they make a decent beer shandy, I drive so no choice lol.

I used to work here so staff always happy to see us and are always made to feel welcome. Very quick service and tasty food (as tasty as it can be microwaved) ha ha! Toilets on pub floor.. not 3 flights. Highly recommend for somewhere cheap and cheerful.
Needed a place to chill out and wait for an appointment and just happened to be passing so nipped in for lunch.
Ordering with the app was easy and the food/drink arrived quickly. All I ordered was a small pizza and a soft drink and for a fiver you can't complain at all. Can't find any faults, even
Go to the broken bridge a few days a week after work ! The staff are great so friendly. The land lady Joanne is amazing always smiling and makes effort to chat and welcome you . What she's done to turn the pub round is amazing too (how it was 15 months ago ) it 100% and more better than it was . Joa

We have been coming into the broken bridge for ages. Since Joanne and Terry took over the service and friendly Ness is amazing the staff especially Gemma and Declan are Brilliant the food is delicious would recommend it to anyone for the friendly atmosphere
Cheep and cheerful, plenty of room and tables to sit down at.
We do our regular "on Sunday we are ladies who brunch and drink a copious amount of lattes" thingy, hanging out for hours 😀
