This pub is local to me but I never really go in when passing by. Today I thought I’d give it a try and it did not disappoint. I had the hot beef baguette with home made chips (which is something you don’t see much these days) which was really tasty with generous portion sizes. Great value, and t
We had booked a table elsewhere but their power went off. They fitted us (9) in for food and didn't have to wait long to be served. Steak & ale pie with real homemade chips was delicious 😋
Been here a couple of times now as its a bit out off the way for me so it's family get together. Never an issue, service and staff attitude is very good. Food good and probably better in a smaller group, priced good too. Large carpark is another plus. If you are after pub grub give it a go.
Claire & Matt have done an amazing job with the refurb recently ! Lovely new additions to the menu but keeping the classics (lasagne for me) the Cajun chicken is my new favourite ! a little Jewel in Ackworth 🙌🏼
Best lasagne I've ever eaten in the UK! Proper home made food. Delicious. Friendly staff. Highly recommend!
First visit to the Brown Cow tonight and it won't be our last! Had a lovely night, great food, warm friendly atmosphere & lovely staff. Dog friendly too bonus. Thank you for a lovely night. X
nice, basic and inexpensive Sunday lunch. Busy as I have seen the pub in a while. changes to the interior are welcome leaving it light and spacious. Worth a visit..
Family friendly and Dog freindly pub with good food and helpful, happy and polite staff. They also have a large car park and beer garden.

Gents toilets clean but paper dispenser was broke. Menu could’ve done with a wipe or even formatted a little better. The s

Brilliant little pub ..just stopped off on a Sunday afternoon for a quick one while we was passing. Brilliant decor and the Staff was nice and polite. If passing would highly recommend!
We had our valentines meal here, the food was amazing. I am coeliac so have to have gluten free. It’s the best food I’ve had they even did gluten free onion rings where any other restaurant you just wouldn’t get them. The staff are fantastic too. Would highly recommend
Went today for lunch with a group of retired friends. I have a very nasty reaction to the allium family so usually stick to fish and chips whenever I go out for lunch. However I decided to try something different, the chef and server were very helpful and attentive, I ended up with an amazing meal t
