I drove past the Druid in for years before deciding to drive up from Wrexham one day. There's something quite enticing about the stone walls, they give the impression of roaring fires and fine ales inside. When I finally made it in the fires were there. It was a lunchtime in the summer so they weren't roaring too hard but the place was still pretty busy and had a pleasant atmosphere. Our baby daughter was made very welcome and the food was the usual pub staple cooked well. They even had a loyalty scheme so you could get a free meal after 5 visits. I will certainly go back. Recommended..

Went for lunch worth some friends, sat outside as the weather was nice. Good menu with plenty of choice, burger was my choice and it was a lovely thick burger with great chips.
Lovely evening spent here. My partner and I were looking for somewhere close to our holiday cottage to have an evening meal where we could also take our dog. We were not disappointed by The Druid Inn. Staff were very welcoming and friendly and our dog was warmly welcomed too. The place was clean and we didn't have to wait too long for our food , the staff were really nice and we left with a smile on our faces. Would recommend.
The first time to visit this traditional pub only live 10 minutes away. But will definitely be back. All staff very friendly and helpful. We both enjoyed our food very much. Mine roast lamb my husband scampi, the best he had ever had he said. It was very busy so that says it all. Well done The Druid.
Although the restaurant was fully booked space was found for us which we appreciated very much. We had a lovely family meal. Fabulous food and excellent service. Good vegetarian choice. Best puddings. Looking forward to visiting again.
We stopped for a sandwich outside, lovely sandwiches. Quality was good and well presented. Thought it was expensive for what we got. The selection of meals on the menu looked good. The staff where really friendly. So I suppose with the expense that would make it a place for special occasions rather than a regular place to frequent. Will probably call again for a special occasion.
HIDDEN GEM. After days of contemplating on where to go for date night, my partner found this little beauty. Where do i begin, the setting was perfect. Lovely decor and such a relaxing atmosphere. We were greeted straight away by smiling faces and shown to our table. Each and every staff member was professional and friendly which made our experience so enjoyable. The food was incredible, we ended up having three courses each because we couldn't say no to the appetising menu. You certainly get more than what you pay for. We can't recommend this place enough, we are 100% returning and have already decided to go here for our anniversary. Thanks for such a lovely evening!
Stopped by for an impromptu meal on the way home from Wales this afternoon. We loved the name and it had such an inviting vibe surrounding it. Inside was just as inviting with its beautiful and quirky furniture, log burning stove and absolutely amazing staff. The food took a little while longer than expected but was well worth the wait. All fresh and home cooked and piping hot. Lauren, Trev and the chef are an absolute credit to this little gem. Highly recommend The Druid Inn to anyone.
Lovely warm feeling about the place. Meal was lovely. Missus had the roast beef dinner and I had the black beef burger. I was stuffed! They have got 2 fire places and a bar with a good variety of drink. Staff are friendly and very helpful.
Went for a late Sunday lunch, environment was clean and well presented, staff were friendly and welcoming.
I had the Hake and my wife had the Beef dinner - we couldn't fault the food or the service.
We will return on one of their Steak evenings to give that a try - the 16oz Rump will be my choice.
Food fantastic but some things we ordered were sold out but we were told after the order taken and blow torch broken so the creme brulee was not finished off and honeycomb pieces on top instead. Staff friendly and accommodating. Disabled facilities not good as no toilet and baby changing facilities not good either as we were given a changing mat and had too change baby on the mat on the floor in the ladies toilets
Such a lovely place to eat, the laid back atmosphere and very pleasant friendly staff was a pleasant change. Food was fab and a wide range of choice on the menu without being overwhelming. I have rated my visit as 5 stars as I highly recommend a visit to a warm ( with two log burners 👌) traditionally old yet updated decoration without loosing the inviting cosy interior that alot of pubs/restaurants have lost.
Enjoy a visit you'll be glad you did.
The meals here were fantastic well presented and beautifully cooked and quite reasonable we had the large roast at £13 a head with a large slice of gammon, beef and belly pork all cooked to perfection we intend to go back and just have the belly pork roast as not many places do it.
Had a lovely meal here. I can certainly recommend the fish pie. Piping hot and full of flavour. The staff were very friendly and helpful. All in all, had a great night. Will return.
Lovely atmosphere, lovely food and lovely staff
