I'm guessing there are new owners because the chips have improved dramatically since I last visited.
I only ever have cod and chips and I have to say this is the loveliest cod and chips I've eaten anywhere. Consistently lovely over many years. Prices have risen over the years and presently paying £6.70. Food hygiene rating of 5 and staff are friendly and efficient.
A little slow at times now as they've got new management, so patience is needed.
Still nice chips though 😊❤️

Cheapest chippy around, well I can't say 100% about price but you get so much more food for your money then ANY and many other chippies I've been to. Nice fish also.
Great food and value for money
Rang with a last minute large order for a kids party, food was ready in 10 minutes, all fresh, all piping hot.
They even provided me with plastic trays free of charge to serve the food on.
