Did not stay here but came for a meal. Service can be a bit slow as it is very busy at times but the food is great. We had the fish cakes on the specials board and the salt and pepper squid. Both meals were fantastic- very tasty. Beer and wine to complement the meal was really good.
Lovely place, amazing accommodation, very cozy, nice and tidy! Great drinks and food available. I strongly recommend the Cajun chicken and the Kentucky burger if available (they're on the specials menu). Food comes in big portions for a really good price.
I stopped for food. I had the pie of the day which was Steak and Ale. The pie was good quality, nice chunks of meat. The mash was good, tasted nice and buttery. It would have been nice if the onion rings were homemade. Apart from that, it’s a nice pub with nice food.
Stopped in after a days walking. Good range of refreshments, inside full of charm, ample seating outside to make the most of the weather. Quite a few gluten free options on menu as aswell, prices not out of the way. And if you are a bit worn out from the coast path, bus stop is in shuffling dista
Called in for a snack on the way up the hill from Polperro. The sandwiches are a meal on their own, very well filled with a helping of coleslaw and a handful of crisps. Thoroughly enjoyable. Cannot say about the rooms as we were day trippers.
Superb bar meal with friends.
Our food was delicious.
The Prawn Pathia was really tasty
Highly recommended.
We visited this little gem whilst staying in Polperro last week on our last day and it was a lovely little place. Staff were very friendly. Pub was very clean, including the toilets. Had a very cosy feel about it. We sat outside and the views are lovely. Good range of food and drink, not badly price
Nice old pub at the top of Polperro. Plenty of outside seating. Menu is pretty much typical pub grub, generous portions, and good quality. Very friendly staff.
A nice pub with good service and and some good choices of beers on the bar, massive beer garden outside to enjoy a pint in the sun across from the bus stop.
10 minutes walk away from the polperro harbour.
Didn't stop here so I can't rate the rooms
An amazing place, I only stayed for 2 nights but wish I’d booked for longer. I had the Du Maurier Suite; a quirky suite of rooms above the bar that were really comfortable and had everything I needed. The service at the bar was perfect, always a friendly face to serve you. The menu is quite short bu
Absolutely lovely,we were expecting a room, but it was an apartment with kitchen and lovely bathroom, above the pub with our own entrance, food was excellent and not far to walk into the village
Lovely pub to visit after a long day trip to Polperro just by the main car park. Super friendly staff, great drinks, tons of outside space for the family with dog to sit and food smelt delicious!
Lots of space to sit outside. Beautiful Inside and outside. Lovely chips as well and staff were very nice. would recommend if in the area :)
I didn't eat I liked the place, I didn't like the other customers. They all had coughs and didn't understand the covid rukes
I stayed here for 4 nights and must say one of the best places I've stayed at,the staff are very friendly and helpful and the Crumblehorn is very lovely to look at with a good selection of beers and the food is very good.
And I was also very happy with the room I stayed at.
Keep up the great work St
Lovely pub. Clean toilets and friendly staff. Only stopped for a quick pint before catching the bus back to our motorhome.
Walked passed this place for a few years and every time it has been busy, so not ventured in.
This time I bit the bullet and went in. It was a cosy place and the food was lovely. Service was top notch. Will make this a place to stop next visit to Polperro.
