All the waiting staff were lovely, the food was really nice, garden lovely to hang out in on a sunny afternoon but the bar manager was incredibly miserable. Stopped by for an impromptu lunch on Mother’s Day. Staff found us a table, and we ordered the roast. Honeyed parsnip, sautéed red cabbage, carrot and swede, roast potatoes, a side of cauliflower cheese with a sausage meat ball. Very well cooked and came out piping hot. Massive brownie points for hot
