A group of golfers spent a weekend here and were looked after very well, especially by Niamh.
The rooms in the separate building were modern and well furnished. It's a bit tricky to get into bath for a shower, so could do with handles to assist. Room wasn't cleaned every day though.
Food is decent.

The Feathers Hotel is an old hotel in the centre of Pocklington. There is a nice cosy bar with an excellent range of beers, larger and cider, including four hand pulled casket conditioned real ales. The cask ales I sampled were excellent. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. There are no bar games. Dogs are not allowed in.
Had the Sunday lunch carvery with my wife today. Some new staff were on, everyone was friendly and helpful. Delicious meat, vegetables and Yorkshire puddings along with the gravy. Slight delay in my wife’s dessert but she enjoyed it and we will be back when I’m not on standby. It’s worth driving out 15 miles!
Came here last Sunday for the cavery , we came late , however this didn't stop us from getting great service and even better food !
Good choice of beers also.

Perfect place for a pint! I stay here every time I'm in town for business. Always a great time. The pubs always bumping, and the staff are friendly.

Excellent. I have both friends and family in Pocklington and always stay here when visiting. Such a friendly place, great service and location…. Breakfast always quality.
Was in for a meal last night with my wife ( Sat 2nd December ) had ordered a couple of steaks earlier during the week fantastic food well cooked ( Well done Sam and Carol ) . Went back in on Sunday for carvery ( 5 of us this time ) again lovely carvery loads to eat ( thanks Carol and the rest of the staff )
Good price and great amenities. Stayed for a wedding in the function room.
Staff extremely friendly and accommodating.
Big plus for me is that we were given two room keys. As a family this can be invaluable and not many hotels are willing.
Best small carvery.
