The historic station Hotel is a nice place to call in for a drink. There is a good range of beers, lagers, and cider including two hand-pulled cask conditioned real ales which were very nice when i called in. It's a nice cosy pub, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The pub is dog friendly.

Thought we would chance it being a Sunday. We were not disappointed... The service was excellent could not do enough for you. The food? Freshly cooked local produce... Absolutely delicious. We will be back.. Thank you team for making our Sunday a yummy delight

We went for a meal... it was amazing. Standard prices and absolutely amazing. There was 6 of us. Very friendly staff at this centrally located pub opposite the church in the town of Pocklington. Ahhh, but then these two 'temples of learning' are always next to each other wherever you go - if you want one, look for the other, it's always close by! After trying to find somewhere to get a Sunday roast yesterday we dropped in and had the most amazing dinner.
