We all love going here everyone is so friendly and helpful Dave and Tracey are top class can not do enough for you , it's a great place for young and old and there is games for the children so you can enjoy a drink , the food absolutely fabulous worth every penny , would recommend it to everyone , worth a visit if only for a drink.
We have been in this afternoon and we think it's a fantastic place. Normally we just have drinks but today we ordered snacks. We had the chilli natchos and my god they were amazing. The best ones we had were in Spain before we tried here. Definitely recommend them. Thank you.
Absolutely great place. So family friendly, great food, great drink. The most friendly staff! I highly recommend this place for families, couples, groups whatever the occasion. Great for a sat/sun afternoon chill!

We had a small family birthday for 8 of us here just before Cmas - it was simply excellent ! We booked some simple food and it was amazing ! It just kept being brought to the table and every dish was a hit !!! Thank you - I can't recommend JJs highly enough ! Guaranteed we will be back for our next birthday bash ! Claire and Archie ������
Dave and his team hosted 125 of us for a retirement party this week.
It was superb, he could not have done more to be helpful and the evening ran so smoothly.
The food was a fabulous feast, catering for vegan/celiac/diary free/vegetarian guests and many commented on how wonderful it was.
I heartily recommend JJ’s and we’ll definitely be returning for more party fun in the future!

Stayed onsite for the weekend with the wife, and we came here for an evening meal it was amazing. The food was absolutely amazing. 10 out of 10. The flavours were brilliant, and the portion size is really big. 👌.

Top notch British pub. Quality pub food and big portions, tasty desserts too! Can recommend the lasagna and bluemoon burger. Cocktails are a great price too. Fantastic service from the staff even though it was busy.
Ate on boxing day and received fantastic service as always. Spoke to the owner who was saying they were fully booked throughout Christmas. Not surprising really. Recommend to all.
The food and service is great at JJs Bar & Kitchen (especially the evening menu) and sooo much to choose from! Amazing chicken Caesar salad with pita. We had a free breakfast included in our stay although it is on the more expensive side if you are planning to stop here and eat from the breakfast menu. However, the portions are generous sizes. The food is brought out quickly and hot, they have lots of attentive staff available offering everyone table service. Lots of beverage choice also; alcohol, cocktails on draft & a coffee machine in-house. Thanks for having us, I would visit again! 🥙🍛🥞🍳

Found this place on Google and thought we would give it a try.
We didn't come for the golf (even though it's in the Allerthorpe Golf and Country Club), we came purely for food.
The place is very nice upon arrival and the staff are very friendly and approachable. The choice on the menu is quite varied and the specials are interesting - something for everyone.
We had the Halloumi kebab and Retro burger - they didn't disappoint! The burger was one of the best I've tasted in a long time and the chips were amazing! The kebab, I was told, was very good, just a very large portion!
Prices were very reasonable and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
In fact it was that good we came back for lunch again 2 days later - this time on a Saturday.
We were expecting it to be much busier, but as the weather was attrocious, it was fairly quiet.
This time I tried the Southern Fried Chicken burger and my wife tried the Schnitzel.... Again the food was very good, portions again were a little large, but this time we took some cakes home with us.... They were good too!
The staff on the second visit were just as enthusiastic, polite and helpful as before and we really enjoyed ourselves.
All in all a good place for food and drink, not overly priced, but excellent food!

Will be going back again. We had this ‘Bangkok Chicken’ which is sweet and sour chicken but was really nice. My husband had a sunday roast and I had the wildboar hotdog which were both really good.
We have just had a lovely Sunday lunch at JJ’s at the golf club in Allerthorpe. The service was very good and food yummy. The Sunday lunch is a beef and chicken combo and everything was very fresh. Couldn’t fit in a dessert but did take a cake from their amazing selection for later. Reasonably priced, lovely comfortable surroundings and clean smart toilets.
Nice food, great service, very reasonably priced. Came here twice during our stay at Allerthorpe Golf Club for food plus a handful of times for drinks. Definitely recommend.

Haven’t been for awhile but doesn’t disappoint. Quick and friendly service, lovely, tasty and fresh food, clean and comfortable restaurant area. Desserts looked fab.

Sunday lunch was beautiful and huge, 8 vegetables plus 3 meats and Yorkshire pudding.
Would definitely recommend a visit.

This is my favourite place! It's such a gem. Excellent food and drink. Warm, friendly welcome by kind, helpful, knowledgeable staff. The food is amazing! 2 for £10 pizzas on a Wednesday and burger club Thursday. Great for groups, couples and kids. Wide menu choices catering for vegan and vegetarians. A must try! Not wheelchair accessible as it is upstairs.
