I got married at St Elizabeth's House 2 years ago. I returned today to enjoy a lovely afternoon tea in the stunning Darcy Room with my mum and best friend, it was simply delicious, well presented and great service as always. I recommend this lovely treat to anyone!!!!

Booked St.Elizabeth houses private rooms for my high afternoon tea Hen Party and i could not highly recommend them enough!! The staff were very pleasant and polite, nothing was to much trouble. The food was fantastic and the staff kindly boxed up the left overs for me to take home which I thought was ever so thoughtful. The young bar lads and ladies were lovely and served us all with a smile. The restaurant and bar were more beautiful then I imagined them to look. They defiently give you the feeling that you are in a luxurious space. Will definitely be visiting more often for more afternoon teas and meals.

My husband and I decided to to celebrate our first wedding anniversary here and we were not disappointed! The food in the restaurant was outstanding!! Perfectly prepared and presented on the plate, you could tell the chef takes pride in their cooking. The service was friendly and efficient and the restaurant had a welcoming atmosphere. The food was also reasonably priced. I would highly recommend anyone to eat here. We will definitely be returning! It made our anniversary a special one to remember😊

I stayed at St Elizabeth’s on Sunday with my partner. We don’t leave many reviews on places we go but my partner and I thought your business deserved a review!! The receptionist Caroline was so welcoming and friendly. We mentioned to her that we were local but wanted to stay the night cause it was my birthday treat and to see what the hotel was like etc, as st Elizabeth’s could be a potential wedding venue in the future for us. Even though she’s not specialised in the weddings, she stopped what she was doing and kindly offered to show us around the bridal suites and ceremony room etc, we thought that was a nice touch and we really appreciated it. We had a cream tea on arrival and we were expecting just the standard scones and tea but they gave us an amazing selection of cakes aswel- was so yummy! Our room was amazing, probably the best room I’ve stayed in (and we’ve stayed in quite a few!) so spacious and the bed was so comfy! All the staff we came across were so friendly and food was lovely too! We’ll definitely be considering St Elizabeth’s for our wedding venue in the future!
