Cornish Bakery - Plymouth - Photo album

What a great place to enjoy a coffee and a Pastries. My family were on holiday and we popped in here and received a warm welcome. The latte coffee was lovely and the Pastries we're delightful especially the rhubarb and apple. There is a lovely calm atmosphere here with plenty of natural light comi
After a short stroll from the city centre we arrived at The Barbican and decided to stop here for a break. I had a Mocha and Julie had a Decaf Tea. We both had a plain scone each and I opted for clotted cream (yes, jam first then cream). The coffee was just right and was hot. Julie’s tea was right -
The scone in a cream tea set is jumbo! It’s also soft, dense, and buttery, so good. The café is bright and spacious with a harbor view. Clean toilet. So you order at the counter, wait for your food there, and bring the tray to the table you choose.
This place has the magical power to set your day just right and mark it as a happy day. I mean have you tried their mouth watering bakeries and coffee? They’re out of this World! The textures and richness of their cakes are just amazing 😋 Last time we got the lemon cake which is very different with
Lovely surprise, vegan ice cream, and many other choices to choose from. Shop clean welcoming and staff friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend visiting.
I know it’s a chain, but this place has great food, great coffee, and a great atmosphere. Excellent quick service for my Monday lunch. Spiced cauliflower pasty and coffee cake were just top notch, as was my flat white.
I visited this place many times the last two weeks in my trip to Plymouth and really love the atmosphere, the relaxing time contemplating the marina while I drink my hot chocolate with some pasties in the morning or my tea in the afternoon. The place is clean and confortable. The staff very friendly
Cute place, nice big windows with a view over Sutton Harbour. We had a cappuccino with oat milk, expected it slightly bigger for a £3 coffee. Would highly recommend the Cherry & Almond Croissant 🥐 🍒. Very delicious! A lot of space to sit down and work on your laptop as we did. Enough charging points
A really lovely place and not too busy with huge floor to ceiling windows overlooking Sutton Harbour. Delicious pastries especially the cornish pudding. The guy who runs the place is so helpful and friendly too. Also dog friendly. The coffee is outstanding. Highly recommended.
Visited here earlier last week, had a Portuguese tart & coffee. The staff were extremely friendly, views are fabulous. Felt very welcome and at ease great place to people watch and unwind...credit to the young man with tattoos he was clearing the tables but still had time for chat considering the p
Welcoming staff, well crafted coffee and fresh pastries. And all over looking the docks, an excellent place to visit for breakfast and lunch
Was served by a young lady called Leona, who did not stop smiling! Felt incredibly welcome, and thoroughly enjoyed our coffee and scones. Beautiful holiday vibe with stunning views. Well worth a visit.
Great harbour view with a good selection of cakes, pasties and drinks. Access from both sides of the shop with easy access for wheel chairs etc from one side. Recommend
Very welcoming! Great staff all ever so friendly. Lovely coffee and cake 😋, could of sat there all day, great views, would definately recommend this place if your local or visiting Plymouth. 🤗
This is a lovely coffee shop right in the Barbican. Lovely view of the harbor. Good selection of coffee and teas. Also so nice pastries, pizza and other snacks.
Visited on opening day. Lovely spacious coffee shop/bakery with stunning views over the marina. Friendly, very capable staff. Lots of choice of pasties, pastries, cakes and drinks, including vegan options. Have already recommended it to family and friends
Joe is a fantastic staff member very helpful friendly and cheery. Coffee is excellent and cake was yummy. Coffee cups could be bigger but absolutely delicious. Lovely cafe restaurant and wow the bakery is looking lush try the sausage roll farmhouse one absolutely delicious. Thank you Joe for making
Popped in after a swim and was pleasantly surprised by the vegan options available. Had a pasty to eat in and later we were told all the remaining pastries and baked goods were discounted as it was end of day so we took home another vegan pasty and two vegan raspberry croissants (which are amazing)
This has become my favourite meeting spot by the water - fab views, free wifi and THE BEST coffee on the Barbican by a long way! it's dog friendly too. Have a Pastel de Nata, you won't be sorry!
