So I was standing outside in the street checking the menu... when this giant tattooed man with a big beard looked up from his food and gave me the friendliest most welcoming smile and wave that I could ask for. I was made to feel more welcome in this cafe than anywhere else in Plymouth.
The staff and the regular customers were so nice.
I got a full English breakfast, delicious! Great coffee too.
A fully independent family run business that I will definitely be going back to the next time I'm down.

Little artisan cafe at the bottom of it think it's called George street in Plymouth city centre. A few tables outside and small amount of tables inside. Pleasant little place and your welcomed with a smile. I had a cappuccino with a chocolate muffin which had a soft chocolate creamy centre it was yummy. Brazilian coffee was used and was a nice flavour. Nicely done out place and clean. And no over powering music in the background of which I like. I felt nice and relaxed there and seats were comfortable. They do have food there of the sandwich and salad type. Of which I have not yet tried. But will I'm back and try in the future. If you like a quiet and artisan cafe then I suggest you give this place a try. I think you may like it.
Our first visit to Coffee Time, was when we went to Plymouth for a concert.
When we got off of the coach all we wanted was a nice cup of coffee.
We found this little cafe, run by a young couple & it wasn't just the coffee that was lush, it was the customer service, they gave us loads of information about the area & explained exactly were our accommodation was.
We returned the next morning for breakfast & again before we returned home on the Sunday.
We've since been back to Plymouth by train & our first stop was Coffee Time.
We intend to return again next week & look forward to seeing such a lovely family.
You guys are absolutely fabulous & thank you.
So if you are ever in Plymouth, please pop in to this lovely place & meet the lovely people who own it.

Found Coffee Time when wandering looking for somewhere to have breakfast. Welcoming host and friendly server. Americans was lovely and full breakfast was spot on. Toast was delicious! Will definitely visit again.
What a brilliant find! This lovely cafe really brightened our day. The staff and owner immediately made us feel welcome, the breakfast was lovely and the decor was really nice. We liked it soo much we even came back again for a cake and another hot drink.

Came to plymouth for a weekend in June and found this little Cafe in the shopping area, we were warmly welcomed by the lady working there and found out it was their first real day of being open. We returned each day we were in plymouth that weekend.
The lady and her husband who run it were exceptionally helpful with information about things we could do while we were there.
We returned to plymouth mid August and popped in for a coffee, both the lady and her husband recognized us from June and we had a chat about how things were going.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a friendly atmosphere with exceptional service and most of all an amazing cup of coffee.

Fantastic friendly clean place to relax with friends and family full English was amazing you can taste the freshness staff are very kind and extremely welcoming arrive as a customer leave as a friend
Wheelchair friendly and bathroom facilities definitely of a high standard clean tidy and plenty of room for wheelchairs or prams

This place really is a real treasure.. the lady who runs/ owns it really is lovely.. I come here with a lady who I support and they really do treat her like a Queen. Lovely home made cakes which are divine.. Lovely yummy sandwiches and proper Coffee. Would definitely recommend
Lovely gentleman who owns it now ,great he does hot drinks with soya milk also ,Lovely atmosphere, also good that there is outside tables and chairs so can sit out side with drink and smoke ,definitely go again
Had a great coffee (piping hot) here yesterday, it was a very friendly place, with a genuine warm welcome, and tasty food. I had the prawn mayo bruschetta and my husband, the cheese and ham panini.
Would absolutely recommend to anyone passing, a real gem.
A refreshing modern cafe with a Portuguese twist. The Delta brand coffee never disappoints with a rich and full, but smooth and insistent texture. The relaxing decor certainly promotes Coffee Time's strapline message "drink & think". A small choice of cakes compliments the calming ambiance. This place had just been born when I visited, but I recommend frequenting and connecting with the friendly owner. Can't give it less than 5 stars as it's just such a nice contrast to the encumbant nearby offerings.
Always a nice calming atmosphere at this cafe whether you have company or alone everyone gets a cheery hello and there chocolate orange cake is excellent, staff are always polite and helpful
We love this wonderful cafe, very friendly staff and love the very friendly lady that owns the cafe always makes you feel welcome, we never go anywhere else but this wonderful cafe, the best one we've been in for a long time, xx
