Having frequented "Tantuni" for the last year or so, the food has never once missed. Everytime the flavours are indulgent and cooked to perfection.
Today's lamb chops special is by far the best lamb chops I've had anywhere locally.

This place is such a good find. I highly highly recommend it. The food here is cooked perfectly not to mention the tasty chips. Will be visiting again when I can. Everyone is so friendly.

Had the meal deal lamb and chicken wrap with chips. Pomegranate tea and baklava to end. Everything was absolutely amazing and only £12.50 would highly recommend going to anyone who is curious.
Only downside is they don't have a recipe on how to make their hummus.
I saw this place recommended as one of the best places to eat in Plymouth so had to try it. Had the Turkish breakfast on a big sharing platter, everything was so fresh and flavoursome. Ample food, variety of cheeses. Definitely recommend popping in and giving them a try
Absolutely amazing food! Wicked value for money. Just popped in as were walking fast. The Lamb Tantuni Wrap was so good! Also the man who runs it is really attentive and a great host. Couldn't recommend enough.
Love this place, the people are so lovely and the food is amazing. Apple Turkish tea, wrap filled with halumi and roasted vegetables in a fantastic sauce. I had hot chilli, my wife had medium and my son had plain. The taste of such a simple dish is an absolute joy and served with sumac fries. The most difficult choice is the pudding and we decided to each try a different cheesecake OMG each was so different I had rose with pistachios, my son had chocolate but my wife’s lemon stole the show but saying that nobody swapped. The chocolate was sweet and luxurious, mine was delightfully delicate and my wife’s was sharp and finished the meal beautifully. We had a plan that we would take away some extras and the next day we had some hummus and baklava. Just going to say I hated baklava but this has totally changed my opinion. Not overly sweet and the taste of nuts comes through but the texture of the pastry makes this the highlight.

A must-try restaurant in Plymouth!! Service was amazing and I felt very welcomed. Excellent food and value for money, the portion sizes were really generous! Would come back again to enjoy their delicious cheesecake and baklava.
Tantuni has become my favourite place to dine in Plymouth. I am warmly welcomed with each visit and my preferred dishes are remembered.
Tantuni is clean, organised and efficient. I like to see the cheesecakes and other desserts on display along with the ability to see how the kitchen is run.
The food is made fresh to order and always tastes delicious. I am slowly making my way through the whole menu and nothing has dissapointed me. Though I do regularly order my favourites: sigara Boregi, Patatas Kofte, chips, halloumi salad and sutlac.
Portion sizes are great, mixed sharing boards are a solid option for a 'hungry' day and meal deals are generously sized.

A delicious little place to stop for lunch. Food is cooked fresh to order and staff are very attentive to detail. I had the Lamb Tantuni with chips, which was superb. Friendly service and fantastic grub, what more could you want! 😃
Amazing! The food was absolutely delicious. Me and my partner both had Tantuni wraps, which were cooked to perfection. The flavour combination worked beautifully, and the chips were seasoned well. We had the hummus dip to start, which was lovely. To finish my partner had baklava and I had the cheesecake, which were both a delightful end to a lovely meal. The chef was incredibly friendly and was a delight to talk to. Will definitely be coming back.

We had the 4.99 lunch meal toasties and chips.. Amazing. Super friendly guy, fast service, will definitely be visiting again to sample more!

Ghena made us the most fresh, wonderfully balanced meal we have had all year. His attention to detail and incredibly high standards are evident with every bite. My partner ordered the lamb Tantuni and myself the mixed grill, followed by a desert of Sütlaç, a traditional Turkish rice pudding.
At no point during out hour and a half stay were we able to discuss anything other than how what was presently in our mouths was leaving us in a state of absolute bliss. Everything is freshly made from scratch, even including the tzatziki and hummus (the latter of which I have never previously enjoyed until trying Ghena's today).
If the man offers you rice pudding, do not decline under any circumstances. Dusted with pistachio, almond and coconut and gently spiced with nutmeg, a more wholesome desert does not exist in Plymouth.
Only fools walk past this place!

We have been here a few times now and the food is always delicious. They take great care in preparing homemade fresh food and have lots of tempting options on the menu. It is reasonably priced and the service is great.
