Always good chips here. However sometimes it can be a little off
They used to do a good mushy peas fritter but seems to have disappeared off the menu. Not really many vegan options which is a shame since pukka have pies and there are so many vegan sausages out there it wouldn't take much effort to

Really nice to have a chip shop that isn’t overpriced nowadays. Affordable and lovely quality, I particularly like the chicken, and at 3 strips for just over £1 you can’t beat it.

Normally I would have given them 5 stars but today I placed a big order and the fish I had, although was tasty....had a lot of bones in it.

We had cod and chips 1/12 about 6pm. Only one person ahead of me when I got there. They were queuing out the door when I left! There were also lots of orders going out of the door to be delivered. I am not surprised at all because our cod and chips were delicious 😋
In my opinion simply the best fish and chips to be had In the Chip Shop world of Plymouth.
Extensive menu with many "deals" all freshly cooked to order by fast efficient staff. Don't be put off if the shop looks full - you won't have to wait long!
1st time using The chippy..we totally enjoyed our meal..fish was lovely batter was light.chips for me were perfect..we ordered a portion of onion rings we were totally surprised they were huge slices of Spanish onion in a crispy batter..we will definitely be back.
