OMG!!!!! We love this chippie. Very extensive menu. Freshly cooked while you wait. Enormous portion sizes. The fish is amazing with incredibly crispy batter. Sells my favourite as well..spam fritters.
The best fish & chips in St Budeaux and lovely friendly staff will definitely be going back and no where else.

I went in after a dog walk with my partner. The staff were so friendly and even offered my dog a sausage. I didn’t realise the time and they were actually closing!! The lady was so kind and I didn’t feel rushed or I annoyed them, which you can sometimes get if a customer comes in on closing! (I know I worked in fast food!) The food was great and fresh!! Will be back thank you! 👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️
We had Fish and Cheesy Chips... I know, weird. Perfection! I couldn't recommend enough. Everything was cooked perfectly. Also had a cheese burger that was amazing. Top marks. Also, sorry again for walking my dirty boots across your freshly cleaned floor :)
Just had the chilli special and it was amazing, properly home made chilli and so full of flavour so I will be having that again 👍

Excellent fish and chips, huge portions and perfectly cooked. Batter was crisp and light, chips were succulent and mushy peas fantastic. The best fish and chips we have ever had, thankyou!
go her instead of anywhere else for are chippy the owners are very welcoming and the food is amazing and it has good prices, food is not greasy. i will recomend there chilly and chips and there chicken curry on chips both home made by them self's. Thank you for a lovely meal
This was my first order with drakes plaice, my husband and son's fish and chips were lovely, my chicken curry and chips was much less than ordered so I called them and they sent me a another portion so quickly and free of charge which you don't get very often from Plymouth takeaways, and to top it off, the chicken curry is very tasty, definitely will be ordering from there again xx
We have take-away from this traditional English chippy once a week, and have done so for a few years; they have a good variety on their menu to choose from; and the food is always tasty. The staff are very friendly and always want to please.
Who ever says this place has gone down hill has no taste buds or is just a friend of the old owner. This place is 100X better than it was, the old owners food was greasy and not very tasty. The new owner has brought the place back up to quality standards. Best chip shop in Plymouth now.
