Visited 06/07/23 Straightforward cafe, reasonable menu choice for most. We ordered ham egg & chips and sausage and mash, both meals okay for the reasonable cost. Nice and civilised atmosphere compared to the fast food eateries in nearby Drake Circus. Excellent pot of tea.

This place is perfect if are wanting good real food cooked from scratch by real people. Found this place by chance and now visit when ever I come to Plymouth . It is a really chilled and relaxed atmosphere . The food has always been perfect for me and my family. The place is really well laid out with plenty of room to move about and a seating area outside as well. It is cleaned to a very high standard and would highly recommend this place. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Friendly place with good, cheap food. You get what you pay for, good place to grab a cup of tea. Great for families, couples and singles. Everyone is welcome and despite it being attached to a church, there is no religious affiliation to Christianity. Toilets on site (very clean). Disability access available.

The staff were really friendly and great to take little ones, my grand daughter loves the soft play, very good value for your money. Grown ups can have a drink and a snack whilst watching the older children play. Babies were enjoying it with their parent as well. Very good

Always enjoy our meals here each Wednesday, and meals always good value.just a small niggle wish we could have stuffing with roast chicken and not Yorkshire pudding. And staff are a credit all work very hard and very pleasant.

My Grandson and I love the Discovery Cafe. We love the fact that it's run mainly by volunteers, it's peacefulness and food is really good and a good price. Roast dinners most days but go early as sell out quite quickly. They also help people in need with free teas or coffee. You can donate Β£1 or so towards this if you want but they won't ask you, you just enquire.

I often go here now before i go down to the cat's protection charity shop, and i enjoy the food i would say for money it is good. I think that the busiest day is a Tuesday, but in all it is worth going in and having food or just a cup of drink and a tea cake.
