Went for a meal today the food was amazing! I couldn't find a table to fit in with the pushchair but two blokes got up and said we could have their table they would finish their pint at the bar. They brought a little spoon over for my little ones meal..all the staff were so friendly and wished us a happy new year..didnt want to leave..brilliant place.
Great service, great food at a great price and a great atmosphere. Would highly recommend.
Lovely friendly staff as always I can honestly say I have never had a bad meal my husband and I renewed our vowels and we decided that everyone would go to here before our party in the evening everyone was happy with their meals and the service was fast big �'s up!!!!

My daughter and I went to the Bank for a bite to eat and a drink before we went to see Miss Saigon at the Theatre. We were treated very well and politely by the staff there and nothing was too much trouble. Our meals were delivered very promptly and they were very nice and very good value. We took advantage of the two for one cocktails. Would definitely come back again next time we go to the theatre or in town. Thank you 😁

Four of us needed a meal before going to the theatre . We only had just over an hour to be served before we made our way to see the show. It was so lovely to see the staff cope with the numbers of people wanting the same as us. The staff were so helpful .
Food is good. The salad accompaniments I had were fresh and substantial. We all enjoyed our meals. Presentation was very good.
I asked for a small orange and lemonade which was what I got as some pubs don’t seem to have small sizes so there would have been some left to waste. It was just the right amount for the time we had there.
We visited last night after not visiting for about 4 years due to our last vist not being great! However food was lovely well presented and cooked perfectly! Few items was missing from our order but quickly rectified, realised we was over charged more then our meal cost when we got home so make sure to check your being charged the right amount! I had the boa buns sadly couldn't eat them as didn't realise there was loads of siracha mayo at the bottom, pulled pork however was cooked beautifully with loads of flavour of bbq! The burger was cooked perfectly, the beef patties was moist and good flavours! Fries was the skins on ones with lovely seasoning and a small pot of homemade slaw (would be nice to have a little extra)! Overall was a a very nice evening, very busy due to the theatre being on! I would recommend booking a while in advance for a table
Great historic city pub with an amazing atmosphere. Great food fair price gtrat city location. Children are welcome, and we would not recommend children in the evening . The pub itself in evening is great place for adults. In the daytime we went with our children they had a lovely time and enjoyed the menu.
As a family of three we wanted a decent meal at a reasonable price in an establishment with a good atmosphere before going on to the Pavilions. We could not have chosen a better place than The Bank in Plymouth. It was quite close to the Pavilions the food was very good, had an enjoyable atmosphere and the service from Oliver was superb. Although young, he had great banter was extremely helpful and gave us such great service that you would have thought he’d been in the business for many years. Thank you Oliver, thanks for helping make our visit to The Bank Restaurant even better. We all loved the food, the mixed grill was spot on.
Looking forward to a return visit. Roomy, spacious and you have many choices of tables. Food choices are great with a good variety for all tastes. Food was hot, tasty and plentiful. Drinks were good value with ample to choose from. Would recommend with the theatre and town centre just round the corner and plenty of parking spaces.
My partner and i went for a meal and stayed for a little while after enjoying a couple of drinks. Great friendly service from Becky thought the evening. Great quality food, good value for money. Would definitely recommend.
Staff were amazing and went above and beyond to ensure we were happy . We celebrated my daughter’s graduation, drinks and food were superb, staff prompt , friendly, professional and deserve their pay for putting up with my repeated shots and cocktails orders , they were amazing . We’ll definitely be back and are already recommending to family and friends . We’ll be in for Xmas drinks
We booked table 49, as one of us is in a wheelchair. I received confirmation of this. When we arrived the table was not booked for us. When speaking to a member of staff she said that we were booked downstairs at table 9. It is impossible to get a wheelchair downstairs. It was sorted quite quickly, but this is the second time that this has happened to us. The meal itself was excellent.
We went for lunch on Saturday, it was really busy but we found a table on the second floor.
Staff: friendly and helpful
Time waiting: it was 40 min since we ordered but the manager told to us we will have to wait, so it was ok, well handled.

Food: I ordered the beyond burger that it was ok
My fiancée ordered the big double, and he just loved it! Super tasty and juicy.
He also ordered Mac and cheese, he was in shock how good it was!
Price: really good, we spent 13,75 each as we took the lunch deal so the food came with drinks and chips.
Really great vibe, amazing food, love that there is both indoor and outdoor spaces. My go-to place for a drink!

Anyone who can remember when this place opened in1982 as i do will be glad it is back towards what it was then. We had a meal and drinks food was tasty and reasonable prices, drinks were as to be expected, place was clean and tidy.
On our latest visit on a Monday night, it was quite and we ordered at the bar the food was quickly delivered, while the wife enjoyed hers I was less impressed. My BBQ pulled pork flat bread, had limited filling, the flat bread was dry, the fries were a mix of very hot and cold.
Had so much better.

Went in around 5:30pm on a Friday, managed to get last table, atomosphere good, told 25 min wait on food, exactly 25 mins, service was friendly, food was amazing, I had notorious P.I.G and I hope they don't take this off the menu as I will certainly be back for more!! Mum had the battered king prawns with side order of onion rings, again very nice, onion rings best ever had, needs to say we left nothing on the plates, to those in the kitchen on the 22ñd Sept, thank you for an amazing meal!! Would certainly recommend!!!
Very delicious lunch in the garden back in the summer. The bang bang Cauliflower was something else! It’s refreshing to order a salad and get more than just a single leaf!

Lovely staff if you think so as well they have a thank you box on the counter by the till but you have to ask to find it.
Would go again if I lived local.
