Really good service, food came out quickly and was hot. One of our party is allergic to cheese so pizza was adapted to fit her needs with no hassle. Puddings were fantastic. Will definitely go again and would recommend it.

We love this place. Okay it's a chain-but it's the best of the batch. It's very rarely over busy, the staff are so friendly and obliging and the food has improved no end in the last few years. The smoked chicken salad is to die for and some of the 'add a liquer' puddings should carry health warnings they're so moreish. This branch is a bit tucked away if you don't know where to find it, but worth persevering-and a great place to before or after a theatre night out. We often consider going elsewhere but nearly always plump fir P.E.! Ooh! And the loos are lovely!

This is a very good pizza express - the staff are friendly and relaxed and seem happy to be working there. Lunchtimes this place can be deadly, I was one of only 5 people in there, in the evening it gets a little busier but never to the point that there seems to be a wait for tables and stretched staff. The WC's are very well equipped, tidy and clean. I wouldnt really say this venue is suitable for kids, take kids pizza hut - olders go here.

A really lovely place for a quiet dinner with friends or even a romantic meal for two! The staff are always uber friendly and helpful and I have never had a problem with the food. Nice bright and clean restaurant away from the business of the city centre yet close enoughfor easy access.

Generic experience, like any other Pizza Express. Was rather quiet when we visited, so seated quickly. Staff were very allergy aware, which is reassuring when you have dietary issues. Pizza was nice as ever, albeit I wish they were bigger! In terms of value, I don't really think Pizza Express is particularly great value, considering there's not really much to a Pizza, but others might well disagree. That said, you know what you're getting, and the food is nice enough. I would eat there again.

The best Pizza in Plymouth? No idea. But I know that the American Hottest Pizza (ordered thin and crispy with nicely sprinkled topping) was one of the best pizzas EVER. Would recommend this place for people who really like a good thin typical Italian pizza. Great friendly service and nice Italian beer. What more can you want?

I don’t often post reviews but wanted to acknowledge how much of a lovely evening we had the staff were so helpful and attentive. Food was amazing brought out timely. The atmosphere was relaxed and just what we were after. Cocktails were amazing too!

We took a group of students here for a pizza making workshop. The staff were really helpful and the students had a really good experience.

Great company we shared with friends. Don't agree though with the 12 .5% service charge added onto the bill fir having a large party (12) booked in advance. Should have been a reduction, as the place was quiet and therefore they should be happy for the business.

Really good experience and food. Parry of 2 adults and 2 young kids. We were promptly seated in a half full restaurant, drinks order taken promptly and kids food order taken to get them going. Everything was well cooked and the staff were very friendly. It's perfect for the theatre or a family meal. It's pizza express, you know what you are getting and it's done well here.

For a little while now, we are quite semi-recent owners of a smartphone and have been trying to get to grips with the PizzaExpress App. It isn't always that simple for us, but after a little practice, we managed to log in to the WIFI etc. at PizzaExpress Plymouth Derry's Cross and log in to the new PizzaExpress App. Shortly after settling down at the table, after entering, we enjoyed our nice little starter drinks of Birra Peroni Nastro Azzurro and a Classic Sipsmith Gin and Tonic, also, it was really thoughtful, that my wife was only given a gin with no ice (she's not too keen on ice). After the enjoyment of our pre-dinner drinks, Olives Marinate, Dough Balls and Rustica Tomatoes we were agonising over the items listed on the menu, although we couldn't get it all to go straight onto the app, (we're not so young and not too smartphone-savvy etc.). Luckily, Eleanor helped us to come to terms with the PizzaExpress-app - on the phone, etc... Soon afterwards, we thoroughly enjoyed our selections of Vegan Romana Giardinier Pizza (Meat-Free) and Pollo Pesto (for my wife, her favourite), nice... My wife's wine with these delicious choices was the nice dry smooth, but slightly fruity Pinot Grigio, lovely... The helpful waitress - Eleanor - also tried to assist us with our difficulties with the smartphone app. whilst paying. All round excellence, great...

Had a fantastic meal here last week! As always staff were super attentive and the food was hot and tasted delicious! The manager came and had a little chat with us during service which was a nice touch considering how busy they were, on a weekend night! (I believe her name was Lucy?) But we never felt rushed and staff were checking on us regularly throughout our meal! Great example of thoughtful customer service.

Fantastic service! Popped in for a late takeaway pizza and they quickly accommodated freshly made. Great management on duty with a smile 😊
