We live local, used to go to the Colebrook Chippy which had it's good days and not so good days. First time at the at The Plym Fish Bar, Hands down the difference is immense, absolutely fabulous Cod, Chips and Curry Sauce. 5 Stars All Day Long for Quality and Customer. What an excellent customer experience. We will definitely be back. Now Our Regular Go To.
All the food was amazing! Loved the way the chips were cooked and the burgers were the best we've had in a long time. Actually gutted we live an hour and a half away!
Awesome onion rings. Only problem was, once it's finished them, I was already pretty full...
Good to see them using biodegradable cardboard packaging rather than polystyrene.
Fantastic food gutted they took the Cod bits off there menu.
I liked them I can't eat a lot of fish but they were a treat now and then.
Staff are always friendly and clean.
Sometimes they go a little crazy on the salt 😂

Great food. Open hours different to advertised which has caught me out a few times now. They open at 5 on Sunday not 4:30pm
My favourite fish and chips. Perfect chips every time, we drive from Plymouth for these chips

One of the best chippy I’ve been to ! Fantastic cheesy chips, and always a fast service.
Loved their blue cheese burger and went back next day for another one. This is just take away not really anywhere to sit whilst waiting. Nice staff

Fantastic fish and chips not too greasy. Plus lots of alternative options for people who don't love fish. Staff are always really friendly. I love that majority of their packaging is plastic free, nice to see a local business thinking of the environment!
Really huge portions, freshly cooked. The curry sauce is amazing and the gravy is top notch too. I F&C shops were never really my thing until I started ordering from here now I'm a convert ordering weekly

Such a shame that they've changed their curry and gravy recently. Not sure why but it's nowhere near as good. All other things are still awesome though!
A friend recommended this as a good plaice😉 for fish and chips. I take reviews with a sprinkle of salt, but excellent quality fish (cod) and decent portion of lovely chips. Clean and tidy with good service, we will be going back.
Decent hake and chips. Good selection of other foods as well. Nice staff. Couldn't find menu online so here it is.
Bought meals for my family. The large cod and chips were amazing and such good value for money. My double cheeseburger and chips was delicious straight off the grill. Everything was served in bio degradable boxes and paper bags so the food didn’t sweat! It’s nice to see a business aware and taking action in helping the environment. The service was nice and friendly. Definitely will be coming back again. Cheapest in plympton AND the best quality!
