Me and the missus booked a table for 1pm got there brill straight our table we had a lovely bubbly waitress named Lauren nothing was a problem to her ! We both ordered the mixed grill everything was to die for ! Great place to go

Friday 20/10/2017 5.15 Clearly a busy evening. Iain, our waiter was very good explained he had table orders before us to take (never had that before) there were no crayons given when we arrived for the children, he found some. A very attentive waiter I hope this message reaches him. Thank you made my sons birthday meal 👍🏻🎉
Just had a superb meal for my sons birthday. The staff are all excellent and the food was great. Very attentive waitress and management were just fantastic. The young man delivering our food had lovely customer service too.

Had an enjoyable meal. Booked on line and table was ready when we got there. Service was swift and friendly steak and chicken cooked perfectly. Nice experience all round.

Love the food here, and the staff are great too. Only criticism the toilet floors are a bit gruby.
Loved it , short notice booking on feb 14th , fab staff, not too pushy for takikg orders and just the right amount of service ( left alone but checked on a few times ) good prices for good food nice amount of food for price too will be going back
Pretty standard for a beefeater the bar staff are very friendly and it's nice to see a business employing staff with disabilities. The only issue was having the door open to the kitchen and seeing the restaurants, sales targets and KPIs is abit off putting.
It was very busy in the main summer holiday period. The staff were very helpful. Food quality varied. It was rather noisy because naturally a lot of young families eating there.

Really decent food, quick service even with nearly full restaurant.
Thoroughly enjoyed the pie and chips, and apple pie. Service was good, cheerful and helpful - although we threw them by asking for a port and lemon, which they'd not heard of. Would happily eat there again.
Went there for lunch with grandchildren.it was a Saturday so quite busy. Booked a table in advance.all the different food dishes were good and service also.a much better experience than other fast food places such as mc Donald's. Very child friendly .
We came here 2 years ago and had poor food & awful service. However today we had great food and excellent service. We had booked for 12 and were the second group in. We did wait 45mins for our food which did seem very long as we had no starters. But the roast dinner was really nice, can't fault it. Our waitress was called Zoe and she was very friendly and efficient which is all you really want for a good experience. Very good food and service, apart from the 45 minute wait.
Took my girlfriend for a lovely meal, food was good. Order a chicken burger but unfortunately they didn't have any. We waited 20 mins to get told that but apart from that had a fantastic experience
Beefeater steaks have improved immensely - but the price seems to reflect that - thank goodness for incentives to visit! Will definitely go back again before too long as they do seem to run more efficiently than in the past. Staff kind and helpful always nice to find.
Absolutely superb evening very friendly happy staff, informative and welcoming. All food was wonderfully cooked above expectations and comes at a good price, a very pleasant visit. 😋. We will be back again.
So I had a table booked for 19:15, but had to wait till 19:30 to be seated as it was very busy but didn't mind as the staff were clearly working incredibly hard!
Once we were seated I had the Christmas menu wellington and the black forest cheesecake which was delicious!
The staff were very friendly and attentive!
Visited the Beefeater for lunch and arrived slightly early thinking we could possibly get a drink while we were waiting, however staff were still cleaning up from breakfast and the bar wasn't manned. Food overall was well cooked and tasty although lunchtime menus offer 2 mains for £12.99 so as there were 3 of us the 3rd person's meal unfortunately cost £12.99? Portions are not obviously big at that price but 2 dairylea sizes pieces of flatbread for an extra £1.49 with the lasagne was slightly disappointing. Popular venue given its location but decor looks a tad tired now.
Food really good. Great choice too even with xmas menu. Hired function room which is right by door on ground floor. Has access to patio in good weather. No charge for room over certain amount of people (think its 25)
Had breakfast here for first time on Monday. Quite busy but managed to get seated. Good selection of juices, fruit, ceramic, pastries, bread, jams on cold buffet. Hot buffet was continually being replenished so loads available. My only gripe was that black pudding was listed as a standard item available but was none at all to be seen.
Small staff team did great job of clearing tables and taking payments.
At £9.99 per adult (kids eat free!) it will set you up for the rest of the day!
