Coffee#1 is a really friendly cosy place to grab a nice drink and a delicious bite. It has been a favourite of mine for a while now. The selection of cakes get changed regularly and are always amazing. The coffee is lovely and the staff are always friendly. Inside it has a warm and cosy feel with locally inspired vintage style decor. They usually decorate for different holidays as well so it feels appropriately seasonal and welcoming whenever you go in. There is even a selection of books and comics at the back. I feel like these are more for decoration than anything. But I've found myself browsing a couple of comic annuals when I've time to burn. I would recommend this place. It's a nice alternative to some of the more cookie cutter commercial chain coffee places.

Lovely place, great food and drinks, friendly staff. Plenty of places to sit-inside and out. Accessible toilets and dog friendly! Best place for coffee and cake in town centre.

How can a place be both huge AND cosy? I dunno, but Coffee#1 has somehow managed to pull it off. A... Frankly shocking amount of seats to pick from, tall seats, comfy seats, wicker seats, a couple of sofas. Even a fireplace filled with pinecones for whatever reason. The coffee's top tier as well. First visit I had a cookie latte, but that was blown out the water by the pumpkin spiced latte I had on my next visit. I'm basic, I get it. But the atmosphere and coffee itself gives it the edge over the likes of Costa for me.

This is a fantastic coffee shop. Great atmosphere, lots of sofa seats, great selection of teas and coffees. I often hang out here with my daughter.

I quite often pop in here for a coffee when in town. Usually friendly and quick service. Good selection of coffees of various sorts. Mine being a latte. There is a selection of food to eat. One thing that's a slight negative to that is that it's pricey. A small cake is quite costly for what it is . There is plenty of places to sit and relax from soft to wooden seats. And seating outside if weather is good. Toilets are kept quite clean. Usually a good experience here and worth a visit.

I love this coffee shop. I love the hustle and bustle atmospheres. Little pockets of quiet places. The lovely aroma of coffee and yummy display of sweet and savoury goodies. Staff are always cheerful....no matter how busy it gets. The app is perfect....no need to search through endless loyalty cards...I just use the app.

Real nice place for a coffee and a natter, lovely atmosphere, good coffee, and no pressure to move on, even if, like us you tend to natter for a long time
