Better than we were expecting! Light and airy space, with conservatory. Fair portions, great pub grub. Staff very friendly, and dog friendly in the bar area.
Roomy pub with a decent selection of beers and great food (I had bacon, liver and onion). A bit tumbleweed-y when we walked in but it livened up later! The friendly barman suggested a tab, and could've stayed there a bit longer in the end.
From the moment I walked in, it was very clean and tidy. It was quite busy there with a lot of people there for Sunday lunch but it was very comfortable inside. We both had the mixed meat roast dinner and it was fantastic. The beef was really nicely done. The staff were very attentive and enthusia
Our first visit to this superb establishment. The staff are absolutely wonderful, friendly, attentive and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. We were shown to our seats in a quiet area with plenty of space. We chose a roast turkey and roast beef Sunday lunch and weren't disappointed. The roast pot
Enjoyed a really friendly visit with our dogs. Service was excellent considering only one barmaid for the whole pub!! We had a table of 7. Food was nice and obviously freshly cooked. We were visiting the area and will definitely return!!!
Lovely food all three of us really enjoyed it, Very tasty Very hot.Service rather slow but worth the wait.
Best fajita stack ever!!!!! This place never fails to amaze me. Yummy food, great service and attentive staff ☺️
This was a nice pub for a spot of lunch. The staff were friendly and the service was good. The food was a suprise...Great value, hot and really tasty.
Great traditional style pub 👍 Great service from the young guy, really helpful and friendly and welcoming , food was served and cooked fresh, very tasty, thank you once again. Pete and Bridget
Friendly, lively atmosphere and helpfully staff. Menu and food is OK. We all cleared our plates and some of the locals helped clear our table.
Good selection of beers and food very reasonably priced. Clean and tidy although one bench seat needs to be recovered as is ripped and ruins the general look. Definitely worth a visit, friendly service and atmosphere. Car park is probably the only concern as is quite small for the size of the pub.
Lovely local pub with great food and friendly staff, definitely will going back.
Good place to eat, but menu seemed limited. Also quite noisy due to it being busy. There is outside seating available.
Set Christmas meal was lovely, food was nice and hot
Steak night was cracking. £16 for 2 rumps with all the trimmings (fried mushrooms, grilled tomatoes, peas, onion rings, chips) you can't beat that. Also really good quality steaks not chewy or fatty and they were cooked a perfect medium. If your looking for a mid week place to eat look no further. S
Relaxing atmosphere, super polite and attentive friendly staff. I have a non dairy diet and the waitress who served me went over and beyond she let me have some of her own oat milk when the pub didn't have any. Great place to dine I recommend it.
