I love this place and always take people there when we're visiting the Barbican! Service is incredibly friendly and cheerful, and the ice cream is always incredible, with weird and exciting flavours (lime and avocado sorbet!) as well as old favourites. The flavours rotate so there's always something new to try. The bean feast dessert is ridiculous in the best way!

The ice cream was great, I had apple sorbet, they checked it was ok for the sorbet to contain milk which I greatly appreciated. The coffees were good and prices were what I'd expect for the area. We sat outside on a table with our dog and enjoyed the sun and atmosphere. The staff were so polite and helpful and ice cream scoops were generous. My brother lives in Plymouth and raves about this place, their vegan chocolate is award winning! Next time I'm visiting I'll be back.

I had a lovely crepe with an added scoop of chocolate coffee ice-cream and was very impressed by how friendly the staff were. The photo doesn't do it justice I ate it before I bothered to take a picture!

My partner used to work at the Barbican and really wanted to take me down after the aquarium. Having had a spot of lunch, we needed to have something sweet before we headed back to the train station. Whilst searching we found Valenti's! Lovely premises, lovely atmosphere and definitely had to pop in to get some amazing gelato! I always find gelato, you either get excellent or awful, weirdly no inbetween. However Valenti's is in the excellent category! When you enter, you are met with the amazing aroma of freshly made crepes and coffee, a smell you can't top. Greeted by two really nice, charismatic and friendly staff members. The selection you get.... so good, I don't know where to start! Of course you have the biscoff flavour, but they have some really interesting flavours too! Apple sorbet! I have always said, when I think of sour and tangy, apple is my though a lot of the time, so apple sorbet was right up my street! Eton Gold which I think was honeycomb and strawberry, yet so so creamy! Some excellent flavour choices! The prices are definitely as expected for proper gelato! The cones are solid, they don't just break easy or soft. Lovely place to sit, eat and enjoy in store. The decor is really nice and you get to be consumed by the aroma of those crepes. Going in again, the same lovely service, the same things I loved from the first visit! This time they offered brownies and blondies for a £1 each..... ummm yes please! What good salesman! I worked with top salesman, but this gent.... actually did the most amazing sale of those blondies to me! Wish I got more! The raspberry and white chocolate... so nice, so so gooey! Not dry and drab like some others I have had in other places! The biscoff was nice, but the raspberry and white chocolate was the star of the show. I have to say! What an excellent place! I highly recommend to any one! I will be back at some point soon!

Have been numerous times and always had a pleasant experience. See some of the reviews people leave only a couple of stars based on it not being disabled friendly- think this is unfair as my Mum is disabled and we manage it fine, I think people mean it is not wheelchair friendly, and this does not reflect the service provided. If you are looking for somewhere wheelchair friendly why not go somewhere that specifies they are. Also notice that people have complained about service- are these people who expect staff to be polite when they the customer are rude in the first place? Also noticed complaints about prices- this is an independent business with a distinctly different taste to your bog standard ice cream. Ice cream is delicious, plenty of choice, we have always been polite to staff and therefore always received good service and will continue to return time and time again, always a great rainy day activity aswell! Keep doing what you do :-)

Love this place and regularly return with my family for a treat. Great coffee, great ice cream and my personal favourite waffles topped with brownies topped with ice cream! So bad for you it's good.

Brilliant service, delicious ice cream! They have dairy free options which is brilliant, its always spotlessly clean and staff are incredibly welcoming
