The New Lanterns Restaurant - Plymouth - Photo album

Popped by last night, Lanterns were very busy but managed to squeeze us in as a walk in. Service was fantastic, in fact our lemonade didn’t have any syrup in it and it was zero issue or fuss to get us a replacement. Food was beautiful. Presentation was very good, the flavours were amazing, and the
We chose Lanterns as a last minute choice for a birthday meal, without giving it much thought, only we haven't been there before. We were quite pleased with it. The calamari was superb, fresh and delicious. The scallops are served in a very rich creamy, generously cheese topped sauce. For mains we o
Lanterns is somewhere that doesn’t immediately draw your attention from the street, but I’m glad we discovered this place. It’s Greek menu combined with restaurant favourites is a great mix of food that will please everyone. I went Camembert, Mixed Kebab and Banana Fritters. All of which were tasty,
Lovely food, nice relaxed atmosphere, I couldn't ask for much more. The portions were good sizes too. The wait staff were friendly and polite- would definitely come again!
Visited Lanterns last night and was so pleased we did. We had a lovely booth, which was really comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the lamb kebab which I would recommend, it was so tasty and tender. Lovely rice and Greek salad with it. My son (20) had the fries loaded with meatball
Met here for lunch with 3 friends on a Sat afternoon. Lovely service, great menu choice and reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend. Didn't feel rushed at all and we were there almost 3 hours.
The food here was absolutely delicious. Very big portions. The waiters/waitresses were okay, they smiled, only when serving. Service within the whole restaurant felt very rushed, but the food standard was impeccable. Very small restaurant, felt like a tight squeeze. All in all, still very lovely.
Had a very delicious lunch with a friend. The food really is amazing and the staff are efficient and friendly. It's at the bottom end of Plymouth City Centre which is an area I would not have visited normally as it's run down but don't let that put you off. Parking is close by and there is great whe
Couldn't fault anything. The menu was plenty and prices good. The food was lovely, very quick service and the waiters were wonderful (changing 2 drinks for us which we weren't happy with) no quibble and free of charge. Would highly recommend Lanterns we ate here Sunday lunchtime. Can't wait to visit
Tasty food, really good value for money! Staff were friendly and the atmosphere very relaxed. Perfect for a family night out. Bathrooms are upstairs, very clean, but not accessible for individuals who use wheelchairs/mobility aids. The garlic bread wasn't as aromatic as I would have liked and the de
Lanterns has been around forever but it's still just as good as it always has been. My food was outstanding, and the team were always in hand to assist. Can't wait to come back!
What a lovely find. 4 of us are and drank for less than £60. This was my Kleftico and yes, it was perfect. I could have cut it apart with a spoon. The veg, for me, were perfect however, for others the cabbage was too Al dente and the swede mash was too lumpy but I liked the difference in texture.
Absolutely amazing!! the food was out of this world. Such a lovely restaurant x
Always a pleasure to go to the Lanterns for a fuss free meal. Sit down chill out, order when you're ready, not rushed at all.
Lovely food, lovely staff, cant fault anything
Went here for their lunch set and really wanted to eat Greek that day. Took a while for the waiting staff to see us at the store which almost made us want to leave, but once they saw us service was good. For the food, I liked it my partner really like mussaka and I had a stifado, both really tasty m
Had a meal here before visiting the Theatre Royal to see 9-5 (Excellent) The restaurant was fully booked and we were pleased that we had a reservation! Seems to be a very popular eating place and the food was excellent, great portions, quite large!! I had the Duck main course and it was beautiful. T
