Great little steak place with some huge steaks on offer, I will try the 60oz next time.
I had the 16oz ribeye and it was really good, my colleague had the 16oz fillet and that was great!
Great service and really good food will be returning!
Very good small steakhouse, with big portions.
Had a 16oz T-bone and a small starter to share with my brother and fiance their other cuts. Even that made me quite full and I consider myself a big eater.
I still believe I can do their Man v Food though.
Can be busy though, we booked a table around 20:30ish but even then we didn't get a table till later. But had a good meal for my brother's birthday.
Great food, friendly and good service. Really hard to choose from all the tempting dishes on the menu. If you like meat, this is the place!
Visited this evening for Valentines and OMG.... Perfect in everyday way. Staff were lovely from the second we walked in the door and very quick with service. For such a special night, they made us feel special by giving us a rose each. Food was perfect and full of flavour and best of all very well priced for the huge portions you get. I really look forward to returning again soon. Thank you team at the Barbican Steakhouse.
It's was bank holiday Monday, restaurant was not busy! Food service was very slow. It's took almost 40 minutes to get food served. As we only ordered steak! Food was ok, great size portion.
A proper steakhouse with a large menu of steak options - you can ask to see the steak before it is cooked. The seafood dishes are also phenomenal. Crab to start particularly recommended but you won't go wrong whatever you choose. Great, friendly service. Excellent value for money. I nearly always visit when staying in plymouth for work. Very highly recommended if looking for somewhere to eat in Barbican area, or in fact anywhere in the South West, it's worth the trip. No on site parking.
Called in earlier this evening with my daughter who is studying in plymouth so travelled from the
north east and had one of the best steaks I've had in years. Definitely worth the journey . Staff were brilliant. So glad she's here for the next 3yrs as it'll be my /our go to place. Highly recommend it.

We chose to try this steak bar as we read the feed back ! Well!! Wow we had the best night!! The food was perfect our steaks where all cooked to perfection π The staff where amazing x The only thing we felt sad about is they only take tips with cash and we had no cash !! So when you do book remember to take cash πΈ these guys can not do enough for you 5star is not high enough and we Will be returning π π π Thankyou so very much x

This place is a real find. The staff are so welcoming & the food is amazing. I was in Plymouth with my wife & she suggested we try it. She had chicken breast with chorizo & cheese I had steak & ribs. Both cooked to perfection & served with a lovely big salad. It was so good we went back to nights later. I had the farmyard. OMG it was huge but everything was cooked so well & the prices are so reasonable. The food the staff you would be mad not to give it a go. I work in Plymouth a lot & I will be coming on my own. Thanks guys for 2 great meals. We will be back.
We came here for our 12th Anniversary meal. Of the bat they were Fantastic. I had a hypo when I first arrived and they instantly helped gave me orange juice and kept asking if I was OK and if I needed anything else. We waited about 25mins for our meals and wow they did not disappoint. They were delicious. Meat was melt in your mouth and to our liking. Would highly recommend.

I had garlic mushrooms, followed by blue cheese smothered fillet steak with sweet potato fries, and cherry sundae.
Definitely worth a try, but be warned, the portions are on the big size!
Want an amazing find, mange to get table on Saturday, I order T bone my had 16oz the steaks were cooked to perfection, amazing service great atmosphere and reasonably priced my new regular place to go to say the least
