Reminds me of eating out in Italy - basic no-frills place with fantastic food at a good price. The staff are helpful and very friendly, each time suggesting we have different plates of food, all delicious and like no other so-called Chinese stuff served everywhere else. It's the food that counts!!
The best authentic Chinese you're ever gonna get in Plymouth. Plus, you can always get a recommendation from the waitress, whenever you're spoilt for choice.
Decor - Simple, no frills, no gimmicks. Two tellys always on mute, with the subtitles on. Background music's always something Oriental & familiar.
Service: Top notch, when in doubt ask, always very helpful.
In my opinion the best oriental restaurant in Plymouth, and very reasonably priced. Let the proprietor ask what type of dishes you like and then recommend a menu for you - his choices are always good.
Having eaten here regularly over the years and loved every time I was very surprised to read such a negative review! We are returning this evening when I will post an update....
Great food. Really wanted to eat the xialongbao but they didn't have any! But what we did eat was amazing.
