When fish and chips diet starts to get too repetitive, head to Thai food! Try a spicy stir-fried pork basil with rice topped with a fried egg, and there you’ll have a moment of satisfying Thai taste. The portion is generous. I left the restaurant full and happy. Also props to the server lady! She’s fantastic

It takes a lot for me to give a 5 star review because I like things to be very good. I have had a lot of take aways from this restaurant which have all been delicious however the dining experience was even better as you get to see the beautiful presentation of the food on a plate and perhaps order dishes which you wouldn’t have on a take away. As an example we had the seafood platter which was not only cooked to perfection but with a delicious sauce you could dip perfectly cooked scallops, king prawns and mussels into!
The deconstructed monkfish patang curry was an utter delight ….beautiful perfect fillets of monkfish wrapped in a banana leaf parcel of deliciousness with the pouring sauce next to it. It’s nice to experience a dish presented slightly different to what we would expect. The vegetarian starter platter was also fabulous, I am not vegetarian but one of my fellow diners was, mushroom skewers with a peanut sauce and homemade vegetable spring rolls….I can’t wait to order this myself! Nice champagne served in a good glass….so important! Lovely smiley staff who were kind and you could tell genuinely wanted to look after you! Every table was full with a nice atmosphere. Cant wait to go back.
Been second time here and I'm happy to see the progress of this place. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. Very nice and helpful staff, will definitely be back here!
Came to visit Plymouth from the US and went to The Thai House for dinner one night. This restaurant is a gem! Delicious, spicy food and friendly service. Exactly what we needed on a cold, rainy night. Highly recommend the green curry with mixed seafood and the Basil Stir Fry. Absolutely delicious!
The 5 star review stand true. Extremely friendly host, nice atmosphere (really modernly decorated). The food was extremely fast to be delivered, ordered King Prawns as starters and Pad Thai as a main. Hands down one of the best Thai food that I have had, definitely rivals other Thai places in Plymouth (Mr Wok). Left very satisfied with the quality and portion of food given. I left feeling extremely full. Would highly recommend to anyone interested in trying a new restaurant or a lover of Thai food.
Very good indeed, tasty and flavourful. Have been many times over the years and I'm never disappointed. Thought it was time I left a review! Delicious and reasonably priced.
Beautiful food, extremely fast service and friendliness. I definitely recommend ordering dessert (no menu yet), but its the owners creation and it was divine. 10/10, will be back again soon
Low & Slow beef short rib massaman curry was superb. Thicker sauce than usual but was so tasty. Presented really well as well. Looking to return and work my way through the menu

What a beautiful welcome to Plymouth (despite the heavy rain). The food was mouthwateringly good. The salmon pangang curry made the tastebuds dance as did the homemade spring rolls and cake. The staff were extremely friendly, knowledgeable about their food and did not rush the meal. Thank goodness the service charge was not automatic. They deserved (and received) more than the standard 12 percent. Highly recommend this restaurant.
We had a reunion meal at the Thai House in June (2023), a large group of us getting together to remember our trips to SE Asia. The cuisine at the Thai House was fantastic, truly authentic. Great, lively atmosphere and excellent service from the staff, indeed really engaging folk. Highly recommend the Thai House.
Fantastic food and I've really enjoyed everything I've tried here so far. Friendly staff. I appreciate they let you choose the spice level on a lot of the dishes. Will definitely be coming back.
Best Thai food I've ever had; flavoursome, good portion sizes, all round great - compliments to the chef! Ava, our server, was absolutely fantastic, she was both friendly and helpful: I hope her hard work and wonderful customer service is recognised. 10/10 would recommend visiting
Amazing experience with food as great as Thailand itself. A highlight of the Plymouth dining scene, don't expect 5 star glitz and glamour with a red carpet laid out for you type of treatment, but you will get 5 star authentic Thai food which for me is the most important thing, hats off to the chefs at The Thai House!

I lived in London for 23 years and frequently went out and tried different thai places, this is still somehow easily the best thai food I've had, I had the Chicken Pad Thai and Chicken Satay.
A fabulous place to eat. Authentic Thai food with a varied selection of dishes on the menu. Amazing portion sizes using top quality ingredients. The sea food light satay (#52) is definitely worth a try. Staff are polite and attentive. Left feeling content with a full stomach at a fair price. Will defiantly be returning.
