The best Fish & Chips I have ever had.
I ordered their delicious scotch eggs for an appetizer which were quite large. My entree was the beer battered fish and chips which were also massive. The battery was light and fluffy and golden brown. If you are looking for great fish and chips and excellent service I would recommend Jolly Jacks. There is also a parking lot in the marina.
Fantastic food and a great atmosphere. You've got to try their fish and chips to die for! Sue made us feel really welcome and we'll definately go back the next time we're in Plymouth. Well worth a trip, even if it's just for a beer and a read of the papers on a sunny afternoon.
Great restaurant right by the marina. They were short staffed when we went, but they still managed to service the table, be polite and relaxed. This made for a great atmosphere.
The food was excellent. A good menu that was prepared and cooked by a chef, rather than generic pre made that a lot of restaurants use.
Dog friendly too, so five stars. Well worth a visit.
I visited here after a friend recommended it and it didn't disappoint. I had the seafood chowder and it was superb. Then a coffee and chocolate brownie sundae for dessert which I have to be honest was very pricey for what it was. All in all an excellent meal and would recommend.
There were only two guys doing service (due to staff sickness) and it was very busy They managed to do an amazing job! The food was absolutely gorgeous! I had the crab linguine, my daughter the hake.. which was lovely too. My partner had the fish and chips which he loved. Daughter's partner had the steak option, and also enjoyed.

What a great find. Its off the beaten path located near the Mayflower Marina. We were met by a very gracious host who quickly showed us to our seats. This is the second time I've been here in 3 days. Normally I'd order off the menu however this time I chose from the chalk board specials. I started with a very delicious fish soup with a creamy savoury sauce. The follow up meal was a delightful salad (avocado, mango, snap peas and other additions) topped with local prawns. Delicious. Desert was what I consider an authentic " Sticky toffee pudding" made with dates and date sauce. Excellent. I rarely give a 5 rating but this gastronomical delight was well worth it. A modest facility with very tasty dishes. I will be back.
Love this place. Delicious food and drinks great service. God friendly area outside too unsure if inside as nice weather so sat outside.
My partner and I brought my 91 year old uncle for breakfast today, it was gorgeous. Beautifully presented, beautiful food.

A fantastic place to visit, good lay out, excellent food, great service and plenty of food. A little pricey but for the quality of food and good service it was worth it.

Amazing restaurant with absolutely superb food.
This has become my go-to spot especially when I get visitors from up country as it really shows the best of local produce.
We had an excellent meal here with fantastic service from all the staff. The evening was full of laughs , delicious fresh cooked food that left us full. The restaurant was clean and service felt personal. Leonardo and Chef Lee (please forgive me if name is incorrect ) interacted with our table so well. We will all be returning I’m sure .

Popped in for a coffee and sandwich late morning today. Clean and tidy, very well looked after by our host Marie. Both the coffees and the breakfast sandwiches were really lovely and reasonably priced. Everybody seemed really happy in there and I would definitely recommend a visit. Well done.
What a fab night, all the staff are amazing very attentive. Food 5 * . 7 of us last night food arrived all at the same time not 1 complaint. Can’t recommend Jolly Jacks enough.will definitely be going back soon.
Portions very generous and perfectly cooked salt & pepper squid followed by pan seared cod. Little disappointed there wasn't more fish on the menu but happy with my choices. Staff friendly and attentive. Looking forward to Al fresco dining soon :)
