Great menu and friendly/attentive staff. Floor is very slippy so beware if wearing heels. Great vegan/veggie options

This restaurant is really good. Every time I go is busy. The food presentation and taste is extraordinary. Well decorated, comfortable and clean areas with a very cozy atmosphere. Excellent service and very friendly staff!

The food was great, it came quickly to the table and the portion sizes were decent. It was very busy when me and my partner ate here and found that the service was quite slow considering how fast we got our food. The drinks menu for someone thst doesn't drink alcohol was very basic. Overall i would say that the food was good enough to make me come back.

This place is Sushi heaven! The location and the atmosphere is top notch, staff are brilliant - Always so welcoming and accommodating. Food is out of this world. Every time we go to KUKU we end up overeating and getting in to a food coma just because we can’t get enough. If you are a Sushi lover you need to visit this place. Make sure to ring them up and make a booking before you go as they are always very busy. Especially the Fridays and the weekends. Definitely a must visit restaurant in Plymouth.

Fantastic restaurant, superb food, relaxed ambiance, autism friendly. We were a family of six, three adults & three children. We were very impressed by the standards of food, service & cleanliness. Definitely going to go back.

Attentive staff. Cosy atmosphere. An excellent and reasonable sushi-sharing platter! But personally I didn't like the sauce (sesame oil, l guess) with oysters. This is because, the sauce actually worsens the taste of oysters. To be honest, I would not say they're authentic Japanese meals. But they're acceptable quality from a Japanese point of view!

My friend recommended this place, knowing I was a big fan of sushi and it did not disappoint. The food was next level. There was the usual dishes you might expect to find on a Japanese inspired menu and loads I had not tried such as the beef ceviche in the picture below. The things I was used to trying before had their own twist on and were elevated in some way. We also had cocktails which were also great. The décor and feel of the place was definitely of somewhere you might want to make a bit of an effort. In fact I felt a bit underdressed as I had not been there before and not made much of an effort at all. It wasn't as though it was stuffy though so I didn't feel bad. The staff were very pleasant, welcoming and I very much enjoyed my meal here. I would recommend. It is a bit on the more expensive side but I would say this would be somewhere you would book for an occasion, a celebration perhaps or even taking that someone special out to make a great impression.
