Best fish'n'ships (or "Fash" as they call it in this region) I had in Scotland so far (and I had a lot)!!
The freshness and taste of the fish are matchless.
In addition, the dishes are very nicely presented.
The restaurant, whiwh is also a little shop, is very small; only a few tables. It is ideally
We came as a walk in and had luck to get a no show table.
Had some Fish and Chips, Taste of the Sea and dessert.
Food was tasty and the staff was friendly.
Would come back everytime.
Thanks for serving us!
Very good mushroom ravioli, and great tomato and red pepper soup. Bass was good but quite small. Amazing lake views.
Friendly restaurant along the Main Street, excellent service. Great quality of fish. We had the scallop roe starter which was the highlight of the meal.
Heaven on a plate. The food was excellent. Cooked to perfection. The staff were fabulous, friendly and provided an excellent service. The atmosphere was great. A lovely buzz about the place but with a relaxed feel. Thank you for a really enjoyable evening
Fresh seafood and friendly staff. Fish and chips was a bit dry though.
Enjoyed a visit for hot chocolate and a cake on a cold December morning after a long walk. Cakes were tasty and the drinks were hot and flavoursome. Menus on the wall for lunch and dinner looked good.
A very good menu and a warm welcome from a small team on a miserable Thursday in March, when there are few visitors, and easy parking outside, in summer expect to struggle to find a spot.
The fish and chips were very good and the Taste of the Sea excellent, two langoustine, king scallop, smoked salm
Amazing, fresh seafood. Good vegetarian options and the meat pie was delicious according to my daughter. The seafood chowder was another favourite but the star for me was the langoustines, which were followed by the best haddock and chips I've ever had. Staff friendly, a lovely place would definitel
Most amazing seafood chowder I’ve ever had in my life followed by an incredible steak and ale pie with a blue cheese sauce that was out of this world. Great service, friendly atmosphere, and great drinks. Impeccable food, truly.
Food is delicious but the service is not the best. I was halfway through sipping my pint when I finally asked if we could order food. This will cost you an extra 10% because it’s what they charge for serving their customers. I do expect that’s the minimum people tip at this kind of restaurant so why
Great place, great fresh sea food, great team, big fun! Go there, you can’t regret it!!! 👊🍀🍀🍀
As one of four local eateries and two takeaways in a tiny village;all offering the same fish and chips, delicious local langoustine and scallops,The Shores could really afford to put some extra work into creating a menu that stands out and draws the customer back.Otherwise there's nothing special abo
Great little restaurant which serves fantastic food and drinks and so is very busy every day. Plockton doesn’t have many places to eat and this might be said to be the best place. We certainly enjoyed the food, which was great value given the quantity and quality. Service is also good given how busy
Extremely good sea food, muscle starter was good, mains (1) smoked haddock (2) scallops and langoustine, both very enjoyable meals. Only note chips ,potatoes £4 extra on top of meal price Nice clean place, staff very friendly, worth a visit.
Having been recommended we thought we would pop down.
Service was second to none with a lovely lady looking after us throughout.
My husband and I both had the smoked salmon starter which was so delicate bit tasty.
My husband had the seafood medley which I'll let the photos speak for itself, and he w
Food was excellent here. Would highly recommend the seafood chowder (which was deliciously creamy and smooth) as a starter, and the seafood combo as a main. See photos for more details of each dish including the prices.
The music was entertaining. You could say it was a Pop Master quizzer’s dream p
Simply enchanting! Waitress & service in general were impeccable and the food was amazing. The seafood was delicious and done to perfection. My friend had the fillet steak she said it was the best steak she ever had. We even managed to do our shopping for the following day (tin of beans) provided by
Best meal of my two week trip to Scotland. Outstanding local seafood menu, and great friendly service. I ended up here because they were the only place on OpenTable with an open reservation when driving from the Isle of Skye to Inverness, and it was a bit out of the way. But I was so glad I made
