My husband and I had a meal for our Wedding Anniversary and the food was excellent. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was good. We don't go very often as we do not live near but it is one of our favourite pubs and we have never yet been disappointed.

As soon as we stepped into the beautiful and well maintained, colourful grounds at The Crown Inn, we knew it was ‘The One’. After searching for a rustic, intimate venue for our wedding we stumbled upon The Crown Inn just outside our hometown of Henley-on-Thames and instantly fell in love. With a cosy and traditional country pub, the most stunning thatched barn and the beautiful rolling hills that surround it, The Crown Inn really is a gem - the best wedding venue in Henley-on-Thames! The whole venue is beautifully kept, a British pub at its best! The barn venue itself really does have the ‘wow’ factor, with its thatched roof, exposed beams and the most gorgeous hanging hops inside. The venue itself was so stunning, that it really didn’t need much decorating. It was absolutely perfect as it was! It was the ideal venue for us as it was just the right size for our intimate wedding party in the day, as well as being able to accommodate more guests in the evening. We loved how we could have the ceremony and reception all in one place, an ideal relaxed setting for us and no need for guests to travel to and from separate venues! As part of the wedding package, not only did you get the exclusive use of the pub and barn, but we were also able to stay overnight at the lovely on site cottage, which was beautifully presented. This was an amazing bonus, as it was somewhere where the bridesmaids and I could get ready and it became a brilliant place for nap time for the little ones who got tired towards the end of the day! Without doubt, the venue itself is stunning but what makes it all the more special is the amazing team behind it! The staff at The Crown Inn were absolutely fantastic, who went above and beyond to make the day perfect. In the run up to the day, Lucas and Chloe were incredibly helpful and accommodating and made the whole process very easy. They helped us every step of way, were amazingly supportive and incredibly professional. Organising a wedding can be a daunting task, but with the team at The Crown Inn we couldn’t have asked for more! On the day, the staff did the most amazing job of coordinating with all of the other wedding professionals, organising the furniture and making sure that everything went smoothly. To be honest, for us the day went by in a total blur but thanks to the incredible team, who were amazingly supportive (and flexible when some of our timings went out the window) they made the day go off without a hitch. For the food, we opted for a hearty wedding breakfast which included slow cooked beef brisket with seasonal vegetables and sticky toffee pudding (always a crowd pleaser!). The food itself was exceptional and we received so many complements with just how delicious it was. Top marks to the kitchen! Throughout the entire day the staff’s service was second to none, the team went above and beyond for our guests and we couldn’t have been more thankful! We will be forever grateful to Lucas, Chloe and the team for helping to create such a magical wedding day for us! Thank you so much for the wonderful memories! Fondly, Molly & Mark

Absolutely stunning 💓 No longer a pub or open to the general public but such a privilege to attend a private event which exceeded all expectations.

We DJed at the Crown in Pishill in March 2019 for Chris & Jens wedding. Everything ran smoothly and all the staff were super friendly and helpful. The venue is just beautiful and we look forward to coming back soon!

We got married at the Crown Inn in October 2018 and had an absolutely fantastic day. The Barn was beautiful, the food was delicious and the staff were fantastic! All of our friends and family had a brilliant day and so did we! The team at the Crown were incredibly helpful and it took so much of the stress out of the day. We can't recommend this venue highly enough!

Stopped for a very tasty snack lunch during a cycle ride, just before guests arrived to use the lovely thatched barn for a wedding ceremony/reception. Delicious brown bread with generous filling and nice fries. Very friendly service and they even came outside to offer us more drinks at the table. Will be returning, for sure!

Fantastic brunch/lunch here. Friendly staff, lots of outside seating, lovely location. Eggs Benedict were fab, full English had excellent black pudding and great sausage and bacon. Dog friendly with plenty of water bowls outside. Popular with cyclists and walkers, and a great place to stop on the way to/from a visit to Stonor Park. There are a few parking spaces on the road opposite, but there are plenty more in the car park if you pull in. Highly recommended based on this first visit!

A charming pub, with truly delicious homely food. This was the perfect stop off on the Henley to Stonor circular walk. The beef and guiness pie with chips and bread and butter pudding were 10/10. Please note there serving times are strictly enforced so factor extra time!
