Iā€™m getting used to dining here. Food is superb. Portions seem to have shrunk a little on last visit but still delicious. Highly recommended
Nice Sunday lunch on the way back from Wales. Called in mid afternoon, it was quite busy but the staff found us some seats. We had a look at the size of other tables plates and made our mind up to just go for the roast. This was a wise decision as the portion sizes are good. There is plenty of mea

Visited mid afternoon whilst quiet. Had super service. Hot beef sandwich with thick, tender slices of meat, excellent. Individual shortcrust steak pie, lovely crispy and thin pastry with a rich pie filling. Good choice of ales, lagers and cider.
Friendly, efficient staff. Very welcoming to dogs. Food is excellent. Atmosphere is great. Really superb pub.
Lovely pub, beautiful outside setting for the children to run around. Wpuld have preferred more vegetarian options, but this is not a criticism, the food we had was lovely. Very friendly staff.
We drive past this place all the time as we live locally. But, until Sunday, we had never been. We called in on speck and we are so glad we did. Myself, mother and my dog Harry visited the chetwode arms for lunch. The food was excellent, mother had the lamb roast, she said it was one of the best she's had. The team and ambience were lovley. It was the first time we have visited, we are going back soon. Thank you all šŸ™‚šŸ™‚

Friendly country pub with really good food, lovely outdoor seating, bags of parking and dog friendly. Really good stop off on the way to Wales! We will be back when we're this way again.
