Went for dinner with a friend after hearing some really good reviews about Matsya and having had a look at the menu I just knew I needed to try the food.
Stunning place, very simple yet chic interior. Service was perfect and the food and drinks were amazing.
We ordered Olives, Savoury Churros and Potato Bravas for starters and I have to be honest the idea of having churros as a savoury dish was a little weird but it absolutely 100% works. I highly recommend it.
For mains we ordered a naked veg burrito and veg stir fry and both dishes were amazing. The stir fry isn't your traditional stir fry but I absolutely loved it and it was my favourite dish.
All is all I'd give it a 10/10
Service 10/10
Price 10/10
Interior deco 9/10
Food 10/10
A special thanks to Ashish who tended to all our requests. We really enjoyed ourselves and cannot wait to come back.
Highly recommend.
We had a lovely meal with some cocktails on a busy Friday night.
The cocktails were different and tasty.
Lots of veggie options with decent sized portions. They have some interesting twists on dishes which I'd recommend. The chilli paneer starter was delicious.
Overall, excellent tasty food, lovely service and good value for money.
Great family dining place! Very friendly staff! They have really thought about portion control for sharing with veg / non veg , single plate curries and Thalis! The kids had non / partially spicy dishes and enjoyed the food. A posh Mayfair themed restaurant bought local! Love the Gajar Halwa desert!
What a lovely addition to the area. The service was exceptional, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The signature cocktails were tasty and refreshing. We had only come in for drinks, but ended up having starters as they looked so good. The Lucknawi Latcha Tokri (veg) was very presentable, and the Prawns Balchao were delicious. Definitely will be back again!
We visited Matsya for the first time and really enjoyed our visit. The food we ordered was delicious we had the cheese fondue and a dessert both were very nice indeed. We will definitely be returning to try other dishes on the menu which is very fusion and provides variety for many people. The ordering buzzer was a nice touch and staff were friendly and accommodating. Please give this place a try.
Staff very friendly, lovely restaurant, great food. My only criticism would be that in presenting a 'best dishes of the world' menu, choices in any particular cuisine become very limited which can be somewhat confusing. Might be better to pick a cuisine and regularly rotate menu to keep return custom.
Lovely decor and looks very inviting. The food is tasty and some of the dishes are different to what you'd expect from an Indian restaurant, which I quite enjoyed. Extensive menu, and a large drinks menu which were well prepared and tasted delicious. The food portions are very small and I'd say they're more for individual people rather than sharing. A little bit on the expensive side too.
THE ATMOSPHERE!! On point. Food is so flavourful š and the SERVICE, STUNNING. Couldnāt have asked for a better eve. Music in here is bar none, way to set the tone. Thank you team & chef. Will be frequenting this gem.
Ordered 3 dishes and a glass of vino, price is spot on.
Tried the buffet and was pleasantly surprised with the variety of starters and mains. The decor is calming perfect after a crazy day at work. Both my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Tasty food and cocktails. Very friendly staff. Worth a visit.
Lovely meal and attentive service. The food was beautifully prepared. We sampled the Indian menu which we loved but there seemed to be plenty of other good dishes to try. We had a great vegan lemon cheese cake for dessert.
We had the dinner buffet here last night and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The buffet menu takes all the hassle out of having to decide between so many delicious dishes on the a la carte menu by serving up a tasty selection. It was an excellent meal with very attentive staff and a good selection on the wine list.
Celebrated our sonās graduation and went all the way to Pinner. Located right on the high street and has been in business for a couple of months. Fantastic atmosphere and great variety on the menu. We were a large group and the service we received was excellent, friendly and helpful. We ordered some street food followed by some main dishes. The portions were reasonable considering the place has an upmarket theme. We built up an appetite for this evening and were not disappointed.
Loved this restaurant. We went as a group of 6, and initially we weren't sure because they didn't have some of the standard menu items that you get at an Indian restaurants.
But I'm really glad we went because I loved all the menu items.
One of our party didn't enjoy one of the menu items, but the manager came and took some time to understand why, without being defensive or anything.
Celebrated our sons graduation in such style. Beautiful ambience, friendly and helpful staff and delicious food. Every dish had a distinctive flavour and though the portions looked small, they were exceedingly filling due to its richness.
The menu is different and they made sure it was explained thoroughly without even asking.
Kudos to the chef and the team - they definitely do know food.
If you want to experience the real taste of Indian cuisine, Matsya is the right place for you. Most of the Indian restaurants in London that I have tried so far, serve more or less the same types of sweet n creamy bland curries. Matsya beats them all with its real Indian flavours and unique recipes. Even their desserts are quite unique. The owner is friendly and helps you choose the right dish for you. Ambiance of the restaurant takes all these things at the next level.
Excellent addition to the Pinner high street. Very authentic Indian food and a good change to the standard curry houses with the typical dishes we find around the UK. Ate soo many starters, didnāt make it to the main course. Look forward to eating the main course next time!
