Golden Ball - Pilling - Photo album

Called for lunch on Saturday with 90 yr old parents who used to frequent the Ball 40 yrs ago. It was absolutely brilliant. If you want 1970s style good pub grub this is the place The food was fabulous, great traditional pub setting and friendly staff. Lamb chops great, home made steak pudding to di
It was the village fete today ( coffee feast) so the pub was busy. A pleasant afternoon sat in the beer garden. Stayed for a carvery which was lovely and very reasonable (less than Β£20.00 for 2 carveries and 2 desserts). The pub is a bit dated but a great afternoon.
Very friendly pub and dog friendly. Very comfortable arm chairs. Could do with a lick of paint and update but lovely pub food smelt good but never had time to eat😁 we will go back soon to try there food πŸ˜„
Run by local family. Good friendly staff, good food and good customer's who drink and eat in there. Great FREE function room and also do out side catering. Also good for sports as it has large tv's through out the pub. Good size beer garden and pool table / darts.
Very accommodating owners, pulled out all the stops for us on a cold days walk even though the pub was closed. Supplied us with lovely pies with chips and drinks without a fuss and chatted to us after. Will definitely be back in the spring, but will check if open first!
Called in whilst walking the Lancashire Coastal path. Beer (Wainwright) was off and the barman totally without personality - not a great start! However the landlady was charming and replaced the beer without question. Had a good game of darts despite there being only two available(!). Looks like
This is our local! Popped in halfway round on our Boxing Day walk. Just had a drink or two. But ran into friends from the other side of the village, great atmosphere and company. Staff were very helpful, thanks.

Good home cooked grub. They were very accommodating for us. Lovely food.
Great home cooked food. Big portions, reasonably priced. Relaxed atmosphere
This Place is good for a family to go to and good for the chldren to play in the area out side. This place can be used for weddings and functions. This place is really good food.
Went to a child's Halloween party. Such a shame that the very intolerant 'punters' at the bar were overly vocal about the 'music' and the noise. 1 night a year..... I ask you honestly!!
Had holiday nearby years ago,it was the only pub, enjoyable nights, can't say now.
Called in for lunch, the food was excellent, tasty and plenty of it, the people were very nice.
