Excellent - made very welcome by Catherine and her staff. Food and menu choices excellent. Real fire for wintry evening. Rooms clean and attention paid to detail. Dogs made welcome. Can't wait to go back.
Very nice pub in a lovely village. Good selection of drinks and food available. Quite a large pub, but the interior layout, with a few nooks and crannies does make it feel quite intimate. Must have been good, as we went back there after visiting the other two pubs!
Wow! a wonderful little gem in the Yorkshire moors. Definitely worth the stay. Food was fabulous.......thank you Ian! Such friendly people (Emma and Tina). Thank you for all the fun good service
Dropped in for drinks on a quiet Sunday. Lovely place with great beers. Enjoyed the fantastic berried of Rosedale from the gardens. Looking forward to found back to eat one day
Today we took 42 tractors there on a charity road run for the air ambulance. They provided us with over 30 Sunday lunches. They were marvellous. I can't thank Ian and his staff enough for all there hospitality.
Lovely location in the north York moors. Friendly staff and great service. Lovely room and excellent food. A lovely valentines stay. Thoroughly recommend.
The location is beautiful with some fantastic walks in the local area. The place itself is basic and could do with some modernisation. However it was comfortable and the food was very good.
Wasn't staying here but I went for breakfast and it was excellent. The portions were large, well cooked and very tasty .
