5 Stars, the lodges, Spencer’s and the team are fantastic. Really enjoyed our short break.
Really close to Pickering and 30 mins drive to the coast, my only gripe is that I didn’t stay longer.
Great lodges ! Fully equipped with everything you need for a week's holiday
Our lodge was had a hot tub and was used every evening !. Pickering lodges are situated just outside Pickering so you have everything you need on your doorstep.
The lodge was very clean and tidy. Small hamper on arrival contained three breakfast pastries, three individual packets of biscuits, tea and coffee, enough to put you on, if needed. The lodge was spacious, the hot tub was heavenly. The view over the lake was brilliant. Very quiet site, we found. Spencer's bar was open and the food was excellent and the staff very polite and attentive. The addition of the extra lodges will enhance Pickering Lodges. Will definitely book again, if in the area.
Nicely laid out lodge,it is starting to show it's age. Very clean and tidy. Very nice views across its own lake,with Canada geese,mallards and even oyster catchers. There was also Avery welcoming hot tub.
Nice lodges with hot tubs set back off main road. I found the lodges very clean & well maintained, also cleverly set out so that each one is private from the rest, I've been here 3 times in the last 6 years & I shall return.
These lodges are fantastic, the owner and staff are great very welcoming, the site is very quiet and Spencer's bar and grill on site serves delicious food...,.
Lodges are great, service is great and people are friendly, I think some are a little too goose together I was face in with a hot tub outside my window which isn't super private.
Glad that the pot holes were filled in, I believe the steps up to the lodge could do with some attention it's quite steep and the lighting is poor and I do believe there's no hand rail on that section.
Stunning lodge, fabulous location up for a family wedding. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Cabins big and warm also with a on site grill house. This place also has pet welcome cabins if you have a dog as well.

Our lodge was lovely, very clean and tidy. We booked for hot tub and used twice a day. The staff are great. We will be going back
Now on our third visit. Very well placed to explore Yorkshire. Nice and comfy cabin, WiFi and TV, and a jacuzzi for relaxing after a long day sightseeing. Has a very good restaurant near the entrance.
Loved it.... lodges are great ......plenty of room , clean and tidy. Short way to the restaurant.
Just got home after a monday to Friday break. Cabin was absolutely beautiful everything we needed and more. The peace of the area the hot tub the views left us wanting to stay.
The owners and staff were all very friendly and the on site restaurant could not be faulted excellent menu great prices.
We will definitely be back.

The lodges and grounds are lovely. Very clean throughout The hot tub is fantastic . The owner and staff where very attentive . The bar an grill on site did amazing food at great prices .Service was also quick .I will be booking again . We loved this place .
Nicely maintained and clean site. Restaurant offers nice little menu which should suit most. Portions are generous !! Staff are all friendly and helpful. Our lodge was spotlessly clean, as was the tub. No excessive noise in our experience. Will come again we hope.
Excellent accommodation in a peaceful setting. Lodges are well equipped and tastefully decorated. Super view from lounge overlooking the lake. The main restaurant offers a good menu, with food well presented. Cheerful courteous staff adds to the ambiance.
