So glad I decided to go here felt like a proper old school chip shop with fantastic friendly staff. Food so good there was silence for 30 whole minutes whilst everyone ate (a miracle if I ever saw one). Cannot recommend them enough. And thank you for the crispy bits :)

If you are looking for traditional fish and chips and you are in the area this is the place to go. Everything is cooked fresh and is always hot, I recommend you try the fish it is always fresh tasting and not that frozen stuff. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. I wouldn't go anywhere else
Up here on holiday and have had 2 meals from here. The fish & chips are freshly cooked, really delicious and very reasonably priced. The service is really friendly, I would definitely recommend and when we're back in the area I will be back.
We just had the best scampi and chips of our two week holiday ( travelling around Yorkshire).

Bank holiday beginning of May Had a lovely meal from here. Small haddock chips and mushy peas. The whole meal was so tasty and the fish was delicious. Best fish we have had in a long time even better than Bridlington

I had my first English fish and chips last night, and Potter Hill fish and chip shop didnt disappoint. I had to ask what the scraps were all about lol, the fish was absolutely amazing. Will definitely be back this week guys.
Great batter, lovely flavoured haddock, soft chips with the slightest little crunch. Truly fantastic fish & chips. We drove from miles away and are glad we did. Only gripe is service was a bit slow.
