Bistro By The Bridge - Pewsey - Photo album

It's a quirky pub, brimming with character. Close to the canal for barge-spotting, with friendly and helpful staff. We had lunch and we really enjoyed it. The food was not expensive, the portions were large and was extremely tasty. The beer (Timothy Taylor Landlord) was fantastic. We'll certainly be
Called by after a long gap since my last visit a very long time ago on a biker trip. Pleased to find it thriving. The very friendly chef-owner, Nige, engaged us in conversation. A very interesting and motivated individual with many stories to tell! The food was great and incredibly good value - the
Had a lovely trip down the canal and stopped at the waterfront for our lunch. There were eight of us and eight empty plates at the end of the meal. We all thoroughly enjoyed it.
Cracking friendly pub, right on the Kennet and Avon Canal. Great food, great price. The King Prawn Bhuna especially, like O.M.G🤤🤤🤤
We stop here every year on our way from Norwich to Sidmouth. Clean toilets, good food and drink and dog friendly upstairs in the bar. Lovely walk along the canal to stretch your legs after a long drive.
lovely little bar Restaurant food was very nice and well priced overlooking the canal and fields been a few times .and will be going again.
Lovely place to eat in the sunshine 🌞, would definitely go back again 😋. Food was very nice , very friendly staff .
Lovely pub, good food although the background music was just a little bit loud.
Delicious bacon brie and cranberry sandwich, with a Czech lager. Fabulous on a hot day
Nice old traditional pub by a picturesque wharf on the Kennet and Avon canal.Relaxed. Enjoy a pint in the canal-side garden.
We stopped here for lunch on our way back on Friday. Ali looked after us so wonderfully. Absolutely perfect service from her so friendly and helpful really made our visit enjoyable. Couldn't do enough to help. Food was fab and huge portion way more than I could eat. The pub is nice and in a stunning
Just stopped for dinner with three (grown up) kids... Food was very good - the burger is one of the best I have had in the area, the scampi was a good size, and the chips were nice and crunchy. Staff were very welcoming and nice - the Guiness was nicely poured - looking forward to coming back..
Very helpful staff. Nothing vegetarian on the menu but chef came and spoke with us and had arancini available which was good. Fishcakes were very good with discernible amounts of tasty fish - not the commonly found potato with virtually no fish. Good beer.
Massive dishes! The food was delicious! Make sure you don't eat anything else before you go! Few vegan options as well!
Great value food and very friendly welcome offered... Doing a dry January, we had the non-alcoholic beer which was one of the best I've tried.
Enjoyed a drink & a meal while staying in the area. Located right by the Kennet & Avon canal and close to Pewsey so good for people walking & travelling in the area. We went on a wet December evening so difficult to judge atmosphere but food was excellent and the service was very friendly and helpfu
We all had a lovely roast dinner.
Called in hope of food mid afternoon when other pubs were saying their kitchens were about to close so couldn’t feed us after a long bike ride. The Waterfront came to the rescue cooking an excellent fish and chips for us despite being a bit late. Beautiful location and garden too.
