Lovely garden centre 👌 good parking ....well laid out ..Loved the Halloween and Christmas displays ..Well kept aquatic centre ...Popular little cafe
Such a lovely little garden centre.. we loved seeing Timmy the very elderly in-house cat!! Lots of lovely plants and products to purchase.. we stopped for coffee, and it was all delicious! Staff were friendly. Basic, but clean facilities.
What an amazing experience I had with my daughter at the weekend.
The staff have created a spooky Halloween experience which you can walk through as you go in.
The effort they have put into it is a real credit to them and made my daughter laugh and scream. We then walked through the Christmas display which again is something you must see. A relaxing cup of hot chocolate in the cafe rounded off at the on-site Butchers made the whole experience fun. Well done to all the staff.
Visited here today, some really beautiful things. Christmas has arrived there too! great for the children. Good cafe, house plants, garden/gardening, pots ect... brilliant fish centre too which my daughter especially liked. All round great place to visit. Thumbs up from us
Great selection of plants and staff were very helpful. But that's not the reason I'm leaving this review! If you walk into the farm shop, pick yourself up a strawberry cream tart, you will not regret it!
Oh, what a delightful indulgence awaits those fortunate enough to taste this heavenly creation—the Strawberry Tart! Words fail to capture the sheer magnificence of this culinary masterpiece, but I shall endeavor to convey the essence of this sublime experience.
From the first moment my fork gently grazed the buttery crust, I knew I was in for an extraordinary treat. The crust, a delicate balance of crispness and tenderness, crumbled ever so gently, hinting at the delightful adventure that lay ahead. It was a harmonious dance between flavors and textures, a symphony that played on my palate.
And then came the strawberries—plump, ruby jewels that adorned the tart with grace and elegance. Each strawberry was a burst of sweet perfection, its natural juiciness harmonizing with the slightly tart notes that tantalized my taste buds. Their vibrant red hue, like a painting on a canvas of creamy goodness, beckoned me closer, promising a sensory delight unlike any other.
Ah, the filling! A velvety smooth custard, its lightness striking the perfect balance against the sweetness of the strawberries. Its ethereal texture whispered across my tongue, leaving a trace of pure bliss with each bite. The delicate infusion of vanilla, a gentle caress of flavor, elevated the custard to new heights of decadence.
What truly sets this strawberry tart apart is the masterful craftsmanship evident in every element. The attention to detail is apparent in the flawless presentation, where even the simplest swirl of whipped cream becomes a work of art. The aroma, a fragrant invitation to savor, lingers in the air and amplifies the anticipation of that first luscious bite.
This dessert is not merely a confection—it is a testament to the culinary prowess of those who created it. Each ingredient, thoughtfully chosen and expertly combined, dances together in perfect harmony. It is a symphony of flavors, a composition of taste that leaves one longing for an encore.
Indulging in this strawberry tart was an experience that transcended mere food. It was a journey, a sensory adventure that evoked joy and celebration. With each bite, I was transported to a realm of pure delight, where time seemed to stand still and all worries melted away.
To anyone seeking an extraordinary dessert experience, I implore you—seek out this strawberry tart. It is a revelation, an embodiment of perfection, and a testament to the artistry of the culinary world. Prepare to be captivated, enchanted, and forever changed by this divine creation.
Nice place to visit have a nice coffee shop with scrummy cakes nice staff.
Timmy (the cat) is looking really good especially on his new diet.
Our patio umbrella bought over a year ago broke. Contacted the manager John who was kind enough to swap with one they had in store at no cost to us even though ours was out of warranty.
This type of customer service is rare. A wonderful store and even more brilliant store manager.
Thank you
Mr S T
Well worth a visit like all garden centres have everything you need ........and probably a lot of things you dont
But you can certainly get coffee and cake here
Really do like this garden centre staff are always happy to help with any questions you might have and also happy to give advice. They always have what I am looking for and loads of plans and pots to pick from keep up the good work 👍👍
Managed to get the plant I wanted and a tub to put it in .unfortunately let me down on the matching saucer to the tub. Assistant said they had not been check off the delivery at the time, so could not sell it to me. Gone are the days when a place would have gone out of it way to have got that sorted, so as not to loose a sale. So a little disappointed.
But saying that the lady that did serve us was happy and friendly, so got service with a smile which says a lot these days. As so many staff can not achieve that . So we'll done
Had a wonderful afternoon here. The cafe has a mini kids kitchen which is great for little ones and the staff are very accommodating. The Christmas decoration selection is great, and the Christmas train is a great photo opportunity. Special mention to Lisa who is lovely. We look forward to returning.
It's a great place, their landscape bark is cheaper than B&Q and Wickes.
Friendly service, relaxed atmosphere, dig and children friendly! Generous helpings. Good quality!
Visited here for the first time.
Garden centre well stocked and lots of choice with everything.
Cafe a delight, lovely food, sensibley priced, very busy as popular.
Staff were wonderful, ready to please and friendly.
Plenty of parking.
Shall go again.
Staff are all so inviting and helpful. Amazing atmosphere and always so well presented. Cafe is always well presented and their own coffee blend is delightful. Definitely recommend for a bit of shopping or even just for a slice of cake,… or two.
Lovely garden centre and great cafe. Good coffee and a delicious array of cakes. Had breakfast on one occasion and there was no problem swapping out something. Breakfast was hot and very tasty. Customer service is very good something Hilliers down the road lack. Much nicer here. Treated like valued customers.
