Quite a nice looking pub, located about halfway between Pevensey Castle and the station. The interior has been partially opened out into a U-shaped bar. Very friendly barmaid. Great pub with a lovely welcoming atmosphere. A spacious garden at the rear which came as a lovely surprise , had sun all afternoon, lots of umbrellas available if you want some shade too.
Food was plentiful and tasty , I would recommend the cod and chips and the burger.
Lovely meal this evening. The staff are friendly and atmosphere is good. The homemade steak, ale and mushroom pie was the highlight. Will definitely be eating here again.
Lovely service from a really kind and helpful lady. Service very quick. My five year old recommends the ham sandwich! Delicious fish finger butties. And such a pretty setting.

Lovely village pub. It looks nothing from the outside (sorry guys), but once inside it’s very welcoming.
